Chapter 363

Chapter 363 A Complete Falling Out With Colbert 1

However, Corey's voice sounded from the other end of the phone. "Ms. Stanford, Madam Steele was

found this morning."

"If you found her this morning, why didn't you tell me? Do you know how...?"

Listening to Corey's words, Eudora was furious and raised her voice, eager to curse.

However, before she could finish her sentence, Corey interrupted her, "Mr. Steele said that you

shouldn't call anymore in the future."

Eudora was talking when she heard Corey's words. Her voice abruptly stopped, and she was stunned

for a few seconds before she regained her senses.novelbin

It turned out that Belinda had been found out in the morning, but Colbert didn't even want to answer the

phone because she was useless to him now.

That was the truth.

Her anger from earlier was instantly doused with a bucket of cold water, leaving her feeling completely

chilled and devoid of her previous rage.

The rest was just endless irony.

"Well, I'll hang up now."

She hung up the phone and looked at the nearly empty bottle of mineral water in her hand, a sense of

humiliation washing over her.

She tightly gripped the nearly empty plastic water bottle in her hand, which made a rustling sound as if

it were mocking her.

Eudora raised her head to the sky. The clouds were overcast, and there were no stars.

She sat on the bench for a long, long time until something fell on her cheek, and she snapped out of

her thoughts. It was then that she realized it had started raining.

Eudora turned on the phone screen, unlocked it, and blocked Colbert and Corey's calls.

Then she dragged her tired body back.

There were very few street lights here, and the dim light fell on her body, elongating her figure and

making her look extraordinarily lonely and pitiful.

Eudora walked with her head down, feeling dejected.

She was walking for a while. Suddenly, she looked up and found herself standing at the elevator

entrance of the Philomel Club on the minus second floor.

As she reached out to press the elevator button out of habit, she suddenly realized what she was doing

and quickly pulled back her hand.

Habits were a scary thing, weren't they?

Eudora felt a sharp pain in her chest and felt stupid and foolish.

Bang!

Suddenly, the sound of a car door closing brought her back to reality.

As soon as Eudora turned her head, she saw Corey and Colbert getting out of the car and walking

towards her, their gazes fixed on her.

Her eyes flickered, and her expression was somewhat unnatural.
