Chapter 332

Chapter 332 Leaving Kenison City

Take a taxi?

Eudora never thought about taking a taxi. She wanted to hitch a ride with Colbert.

But then she thought about it and realized she would be leaving Kenison City soon anyway, so she

didn't want to inconvenience Colbert.

The two of them took the elevator downstairs. Eudora bought some fruit and got into Chasel's car. They

headed towards Steele Mansion.

Steele Mansion was built by the lake, with beautiful surroundings and a tranquil environment.

Along the way, Eudora sat in the passenger seat, lost in thought.novelbin

The atmosphere inside the car was somewhat dull. Chasel looked at her with a tilted head and asked,

"Does Colbert know you're leaving?"

Chasel couldn't quite understand the relationship between Eudora and Colbert.

At first, Eudora hated Colbert but later said she liked him. Even though she knew that Colbert was

engaged to Alva, she still lived with him.

Now, Eudora suddenly said she wanted to leave Kenison City.

Was it because Colbert was going to marry Alva, and Eudora knew she would not have a future with

him? Or was it because Eudora felt that the Steele family and the Baldwin family were working

together, making her revenge impossible, and she decided to give up?

Both ideas were competing in his mind, and Chasel couldn't be sure which one was true.

"I told him."

"How did he respond?"

"Tsk, I'm nobody to him. How could he beg me to stay?"

Eudora laughed at herself.

At first, Eudora wanted to stay by Colbert's side. At least, because Belinda liked her, Colbert wouldn't

abandon her if she was in danger.

But now, Colbert was going to marry Alva, and she had no hope of revenge. Eudora could only choose

to leave Kenison City.

Otherwise, when she truly became Belinda's god-granddaughter, she would become Colbert's pawn.

The dynamics within the wealthy family were complicated. Eudora didn't want to risk her life in the

power struggles of affluent families and fail to avenge her own family.

It was the best choice to protect herself.

"When do you plan on leaving?"

Eudora's words surprised Chasel, but everything seemed to make sense.

"In a week. My foster father's birthday is coming soon, and I want to go home and celebrate with him."

After careful consideration, Eudora realized that her foster father was already sixty-three years old. If

she didn't spend more time with him now, she feared they might not have much time left together.

"You're quite a filial girl."

"Yeah, I think so too. Hahaha."

Eudora laughed, and suddenly the atmosphere became lively.

Soon, the two of them arrived at Steele Mansion. Just as their car came to a stop, Colbert's car also

pulled up and parked nearby.
