Chapter 317

Chapter 317 Stop an Army With Her Own Strength

When Colbert took Eudora downstairs, he had already sent a message to Corey. By the time he arrived

at the parking lot on the third basement floor, Corey was already waiting for him downstairs.

Due to his work, Corey couldn't live too far away from Colbert, so he arranged to rest in the presidential

suite downstairs from Colbert's house.

Over time, the suite where Corey lived became his small apartment.

"Is everything ready?"

After getting into the car, Colbert asked Corey from the back seat.

"I have already contacted the person in charge of the park."

While talking, Corey started the car and slowly drove out of the underground parking lot.

Eudora sat in the back with Colbert, leaning her head against the window and looking at the night

outside, not falling into a drunken slumber but becoming more and more awake.

With things weighing heavily on her mind and suffering from severe insomnia, coupled with her high

alcohol tolerance, she rarely got drunk.

She didn't know that the last time she got blind drunk at Colbert's Philomel Apartment and vomited until

she passed out. It was because she was particularly confident in her alcohol tolerance.

But last time, it was she who mistakenly drank old red wine, and finally, she was so drunk that she

looked like a mess.

"What are you thinking about?"

Seeing that she was not asleep, Colbert asked her a question.

Eudora shook her head slightly and sighed sadly. "Just admiring the moon."

She was thinking about Colbert's impending marriage to Alva.

Should she continue seeking revenge or return to her hometown to care for her foster parents in their

old age?

But whichever choice she made, it would be extremely difficult, and what weighed most heavily in her

heart was her sense of injustice.

She was unwilling to accept that the Baldwin family had heartlessly abandoned her, and later, to save

Giles, they had resorted to violent means and injured her foster parents. Afterwards, the Baldwin family

repeatedly tried to kill her and her foster parents in order to get rid of them.

If she didn't seek revenge, Eudora felt that she would never have peace in her life.

But then, how could she fight against them with her own strength?

Ring...

The phone suddenly rang in the silent car.

Colbert took out his phone and saw that it was Alva calling.

He looked at the screen and glanced at Eudora from the corner of his eye before sliding the red button

to end the call.

However, not long after, Alva called again.

Colbert hesitated for a moment while clenching his phone, but eventually, he answered the call and

held the phone to his ear. "What's wrong?"novelbin
