Chapter 282

Chapter 282 His Special Tenderness to Her

However, Eudora moved frequently in her sleep. She rolled over on the bed and ended up pressing her

injured arm.novelbin

"It hurts... It hurts to death..."

She muttered and turned over again.

Colbert couldn't bear it anymore. Afraid she would press the injured arm again later, he got up and lay

beside her. With her in his arms, he looked after her carefully so that she would not hurt herself again.

Leaning in his arms, Eudora was surrounded by the familiar breath and felt at ease. She rubbed

against his arms, her injured arm around his waist and her legs on his lap, and fell asleep comfortably.

She was comfortable, but Colbert was suffering.

To avoid pressing her injured arm, Colbert kept his left hand behind his back, leaning against her side,

not daring to move.

It was six o'clock in the morning when her fever subsided.

Colbert, who was stiff and numb all over, got up and extended himself so that his body would not be

numb again.

"Why did you get up so early?"

Within a few minutes, Eudora woke up on the bed.

She was lying on the bed weakly, looking at Colbert who was walking back and forth in the ward. "Don't

you need to sleep?"

"Did it bother you?"

Colbert's tone was very gentle without the sharpness of yesterday.

Eudora shook her head. "No, I usually wake up around 6:30 every day."

"How are you? Are you feeling better?"

He went up to her and raised his hand to cover her forehead, finding that she was not feverish, and his

drooping heart fell.

"Did I have a fever last night?"

"It's just a low fever."

"Well."

Eudora responded, looking at him with complicated eyes. "Colbert?"

"What?"

He replied softly, sitting on the chair beside the bed. His stern face seemed softened by the warmth of

the sun.

"Although you are kind to me because of Grandma, I should still thank you."

It didn't matter whether Colbert took advantage of her or showed genuine concern for her.

Anyway, he saved her and took care of her all night.

Eudora was very grateful.

Thus, she didn't find him as annoying as before.

In terms of the debt that this scumbag slept with her in the first place, let it be written off.

As long as he didn't sleep with her anymore, let it be the past. Also, she would like to forget it.
