Chapter 271

Chapter 271 Sequelae

Corey got off another helicopter, walked up to Colbert, and said with concern, "Mr. Steele, it's good that

you're fine."

Seeing that they had boarded the helicopter, Colbert said nothing and got into another helicopter.

The helicopter closed the hatch and left.

No one cared about the masked man.

Alone in the wilderness, he just shook his head and sighed. Under the mask, he had a helpless self-

deprecating smile on his face.

He got up, walked to the place where Colbert and Eudora had sat, picked up the pear on the ground,

rubbed it on his body, and ate it.

After eating, his physical strength gradually recovered.

He picked up the dagger that Eudora had left behind, opened the wound on her thigh, endured the

severe pain, took out the bullet, and then bandaged it.

Hours later, it was dark.

Outside the emergency room of the hospital, Colbert and Chasel stood in the corridor, and both of them

were silent, quietly waiting for Eudora, who was in the emergency room.

Another half an hour later, Eudora was pushed out.

Seeing her coming out, the two stepped forward, and before Colbert could speak, Chasel asked,

"Doctor, how is Eudora?"

"I have given her a tetanus shot, but the injured wound is mildly infected, so she needs to be

hospitalized for observation. As long as there is no high fever in the future, she will be fine."

The doctor answered.

Chasel was relieved.

He stayed by Eudora's side and went to the ward with the nurse pushing the movable bed.

Colbert didn't follow but asked the doctor, "She was bitten by a wolf. The place where the bite was also

on her wound. It has been several hours. Will there be any sequelae?"

He was worried that the place where the wolf bit was Eudora's wound, which would accelerate the

infection, and if it caused tetanus or rabies, the consequences would be disastrous.

When her wound was infected, she already had a high fever, so it made him very worried.

"When she was sent over, we had already done a comprehensive inspection, and now the resultsnovelbin

should have come out. You can take the results to my office, and I'll have a look."

The doctor said.

Colbert nodded slightly. "Okay."

He turned around and went to get various inspection reports. Then, he sent the reports to the

consulting room and handed them to the doctor who had just operated on Eudora.
