Chapter 260

Chapter 260 The Masked Man Was Wounded

"Wolves are protected by the law. It's illegal, isn't it?" Eudora asked.

Colbert raised his eyebrows and looked at her. "You are dying, and you're still caring about this?"

Eudora didn't say anything more because she hadn't eaten for three days and had traveled a long

distance. She was tired and needed some food to fill her stomach.

"Sit down. I'll make it for you."

Colbert found dry firewood and set up a fire in front of her. He dragged a wolf to dissect it, washed it,

and roasted it on the fire.

"If you light a fire here, you will attract wolves." Eudora was a little worried.

"I'm here with you. Just rest at ease," Colbert said.

His words carried a strong sense of security and made Eudora at ease and relaxed.

Colbert was Alva's fiancé. She should have been on guard, but she gradually let go of her guard

against him after getting along with him for many days.

Suddenly, a rustling voice sounded.

They looked up at each other and looked sideways in the direction of the voice.

At this time, a person suddenly jumped out of the dense forest.

That person was the masked man!

The masked man stood there in a daze. He glanced at Colbert and then at Eudora, who was sitting by

the fire without saying a word.

Colbert had already pulled out his pistol and pointed the black muzzle at the masked man. His face

was cold and frightening.

Seeing this, Eudora stood up, holding the gun in Colbert's hand with her injured right hand.novelbin

Her move surprised Colbert. He glanced at her in confusion, but she took the gun from his hand and

aimed the gun at the masked man!

She met his eyes, and the masked man frowned. "Are you going to kill me?"

"Why should I keep you alive?"

Eudora had always been clear about what to love and hate and wouldn't be tolerant of those who hurt

her.

Without more words, she held the gun, moved the muzzle, aimed at the masked man's thigh, and shot

with a bang.

The man trembled slightly from the pain caused by the bullet. His leg went limp, almost making him

knee on the ground.

But the man held on and stood there without moving.

Eudora handed the pistol to Colbert and then said to the masked man, "We've gotten even. If there is

next time, we'll see who is lucky."
