Chapter 257

Chapter 257 Bitten by a Wolf

She couldn't leave if the wolves didn't leave, which formed a war of attrition.

Eudora was sleepy, hungry, and thirsty. She knew she would eventually be eaten by wolves if she kept

in a stalemate.

She sat on the tree, cut off the branches with the dagger, and sharpened them into sharp weapons.

Then, she made rational use of the bark, tied them into ropes to tie the sharp sticks together, and

carried them on her back.

She also used branches to light a fire directly on the tree. Fortunately, a tree branch was infested with

insects and dried up, so she found a place to put the extra bark and branches together, fumbled for a

lighter, and lit it.

Both the lighter and the dagger were left to her by the masked man. She was grateful but also hated

this mysterious man who drove her to the corner.

As she lit the fire, the smoke rose up. Eudora watched the fire carefully, not letting the fire fall from the

three-pronged branch, and barely maintained the small fire.

The smoke curled upwards. While breaking branches from the tree, she guarded the fire, making the

smoke denser.

Eudora's smoke did not attract rescuers from morning to afternoon, but the number of wolves changed

from ten to four.

She knew this was her only chance.

She climbed down from a high place and stood at a height of nine feet, holding the dagger in one hand

and a sharp stick in the other. While the wolves were caught off guard, she jumped down, landed on a

wolf, and pierced its body with the dagger and the wooden stick.

The wolf howled in pain, and the remaining three wolves rushed over directly.

Eudora was very agile. She rolled over and ran from the wolf to stand beside the tree trunk. Then, she

pulled out a sharp wooden stick from behind and looked at the wolves circling around in front of her,

which were about to attack her anytime.

One of the wolves was the strongest and had the highest tail. She was sure that one was the leader of

the wolves.

Locking on the target, she rushed over and took the initiative to attack.

But the wolf's reaction was faster than Eudora's. It dodged and directly bit her injured right hand.novelbin

The fangs were embedded in her skin. She clenched her teeth tightly due to its strong bite. She pulled

out the wooden stick in her left hand and stabbed the alpha wolf's eye. "Go to hell!"

The wolf howled in intense pain and let go of her arm. Eudora swiftly wielded the dagger in her right

hand and stabbed it in the right eye.

The alpha wolf couldn't see anything and rolled on the ground, howling in pain.
