Chapter 244

Chapter 244 Donation for Repairs

Standing in the rain, Eudora looked at the scene before her eyes as if she had returned to her

childhood.

Colbert was born into a wealthy family. Even when he was a child, he never encountered a situation of

a sudden water leak in the class.

To avoid disturbing the children's class, the two looked at it from a distance and then went to a newly

vacated book house in the school.

Sure enough, the book house leaked badly.

Some donated books had been opened, while some hadn't. More than a dozen books had been

soaked in water.novelbin

Eudora couldn't find anything to catch the rainwater, so she could only stand in front of the bookshelf

with an umbrella to protect the books.

There were four classes in the school. The first and second grades were taught together. The third,

fourth, and fifth grades were in each class. But there were only two teachers.

Under such a difficult environment, the two teachers paid a lot for 40 or 50 students.

Eudora was moved.

After a long time, the rain finally stopped, and the sky cleared up.

The man in the raincoat reorganized the leaking roof tiles, and all was well.

Panting, he ran to Eudora and Colbert and smiled. "Sorry, it rained heavily just now, and I was repairing

the roof." The man's name was Owen Frost, one of only two teachers in the school.

"It's okay. We just came here to take a look. But you and your wife have been guarding the children in

this mountain. It's really admirable."

Eudora praised Owen sincerely.

"We are all used to it. These children are the future of this nation. Wouldn't it be a pity if no one teaches

and cares for them?" While talking, Owen took off his raincoat and hurriedly got water for the two.

"No, thank you. We're good."

Eudora hurriedly stepped forward to stop him. Then she took off her backpack, took out 40 thousand

dollars, and handed them to the tanned and thin Owen. "The money you received before was the

company donated to you, while this is from me. Please keep it as the living expenses of you and your

wife. Only when you live well can the children live better."

After coming to Eastway Village, Eudora met Owen and his wife. They were very kind and taught

students without asking for anything in return, which few people could do.

When Colbert saw this scene, his clear eyes sparkled with surprise.

Eudora only cared about money in his mind, but he never thought she would donate 40 thousand

dollars to Owen and his wife.

In particular, as far as he knew, Eudora was very hard-pressed and had no money at all.
