Chapter 200

Chapter 200 Watching Sunrise and Sunset Together

Belinda stood still, watching the setting sun, lost in the beauty. "Indeed," she mused. "The afterglow of

the sunset is simply stunning."

She was suddenly reminded of the times she spent with her husband, Peter Steele. He enjoyed

watching the sunrise and sunset with her. These were cherished memories.

Regrettably, since Peter's passing, she had to carry all responsibilities alone. She barely had time to

enjoy these simple pleasures.

As she lost herself in thought, Eudora noted Belinda's expression. She furrowed her brows in

confusion, glanced at Colbert, and then turned to Belinda. "Grandma, if you enjoy the sunset," Eudora

proposed, "I can take you to Bright Mountain and the beach in the future. We can enjoy it together."

"Sure, that sounds nice... Sigh..."

Belinda nodded and sighed deeply. As they continued walking, she reminisced. "Peter used to love

watching the sunrise and sunset with me. It's been over a decade since he left, and I haven't done that

since."

"Don't worry, Grandma. I will accompany you from now on."

Eudora patted her chest, replying with a sweet smile.

"Ha, alright. I'll be waiting."

"No problem."

Eudora nodded in assurance.

With their hands intertwined, the two continued their leisurely walk.

Colbert, trailing behind, watched them with profound eyes. He could hear their laughter, see the long-

absent smile on Belinda's face, and find it immensely pleasing.

This warmth and harmony were not only unfamiliar to Belinda, but also to Colbert.

He was unblinkingly fixated on Eudora, feeling that she was a ray of light illuminating his

monochromatic world, bringing color and brilliance.

The sensation was exquisite.

"Grandma, I may not be able to visit you for a while."

As they walked, Eudora explained to Belinda, "I had to go to Ford County for charity work for half a

month."

"Ford County?"

Belinda suddenly stopped, looking at her. "Ford County is quite far from Kenison City. Life is tough

there, can you handle it?"

Eudora smiled, draping an arm around Belinda's shoulder in a fond manner. "Grandma, you're

underestimating me. I was raised in the countryside, so I'll be fine."novelbin

"You're such a good kid, and it's great you're doing charity work. I support you, but you must take care

of yourself."

Belinda advised her with deep concern.
