Chapter 169 We Can Ignore Each Other in Peace
Eudora struggled in Colbert's arms, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't break free. His arms
were as strong as steel bars.
Finally, she could only give up.

Colbert's thin lips curled into a mocking smile, his eyes suddenly filled with visible desire.
His expression sent a chill down Eudora's spine, and she couldn't help but swallow. "Colbert, I'm
warning you, if you touch me again, I'll never forgive you for the rest of my life!"

Colbert stared at her for a moment and then sneered. "Your face is just like Alva's. Where do you get
the confidence to think I'd touch you?"
The implication was that he would rather go to Alva instead.
Eudora finally relaxed.

The elevator doors opened.
Colbert released her, and Eudora immediately turned and walked out of the elevator into the living
room.
She told Colbert, "You sleep in the master bedroom, and I'll sleep in the guest room. We can ignore
each other in peace."
Colbert noticed genuine fear on Eudora's face just now. She resembled a frightened little deer, and he
couldn't bear to hurt her.

He responded, went to the master bedroom, and shut the door behind him.

probably because they were now considered siblings.
Belinda had warned him several times, and he didn't dare touch Eudora anymore.
At this thought, Eudora felt relieved.
Watching TV was somewhat boring, so Eudora grabbed a bottle of red wine and a wine glass from the
bar, sipped wine, and enjoyed the drama on the couch.

After coming out of the master bedroom, Colbert went straight to the study and never came out again.
Feeling bored with the TV, Eudora went to the guest room.
Just as she was about to take a bath, she remembered she had no clothes to wear. But when she
opened the guest room wardrobe, it was filled with early-autumn clothes.
She checked the labels and found that all the clothes were her size.
