Chapter 131

Chapter 131 Was Eudora Drowned in the Bathtub?

"Like you? You think I'll fall in love with you just because you have the same face as Alva? Be realistic."

Colbert seemed to be seen through his mind. His pupils flickered slightly, and he turned and walked

away. "There is only one bed here. You either sleep on the sofa or sleep on the same bed with me.

Since you will be a Steele family member, I will stand you," he said before leaving.

"You... It's me who will stand you."

Eudora was at a loss for words for a moment.

But looking down at her clothes, she smelt makeup belonging to other women and felt a little

uncomfortable.

Then she asked, "Do you have any clothes? I want to take a shower."

Colbert walked to the cloakroom and took out a set of women's clothes. He walked before her with a

silent face and threw the clothes on her face.

Eudora took the clothes. It was a simple and fashionable dress.

She twitched the corner of her mouth. She couldn't help but remember the scene of seeing two women

coming out of the apartment when she appeared in the penthouse in the Philomel Club last time.

Probably, these clothes were prepared for other women.

Eudora uttered "tsk" and said, "No wonder you like living in the Philomel Club."

These words were very meaningful.

Hearing her words, Colbert, who was unbuttoning his suit, paused, raised his eyelids slightly, and

stared at Eudora with coldness in his lazy eyes.

He slowly walked up to her and asked, "What did you say?"

His gaze was as cold as a polar glacier.

Eudora vaguely felt Colbert's anger, but she smiled sarcastically and said, "I'm just telling the truth." As

she spoke, she bypassed Colbert and added, "I'm going to take a shower. I smell so bad."novelbin

She hadn't taken a good shower recently, especially now that she was wearing someone else's clothes.

She felt terribly uncomfortable.

Colbert stood still.

Suddenly, his moderately thick lips curled up into a faint smile.

So, did Eudora say that because she was jealous?

Colbert walked to the bar, took down a bottle of wine, poured a glass, and walked to the floor-to-ceiling

window. With one hand in his trousers pocket, he looked down at the center of Kenison City like a king

overlooking the common people.

In the night, the lights of Kenison City were shining, radiant and prosperous.

On typical days, even if Colbert stood in front of the window, he would not feel any relief. But at this

moment, he felt an unprecedented ease.

He felt like a huge weight had been lifted off his chest, which relieved him greatly. So he was in the

mood to appreciate the beautiful night scenery of Kenison City.

He stood by the window for a long time, drinking glass after glass of wine.

Before he knew it, he had finished a bottle of wine.

Colbert glanced down at his watch, finding an hour had passed.

"Damn it. Did she drown in the bathtub?" he cursed in his heart.

He put down the goblet, turned around, and walked into the bedroom. When he opened the door, he

saw Eudora sleeping soundly on his bed in an indecent position.

She slept on her stomach, with her arms and legs stretching out, without the slightest gentleness that a

woman should have.

Vaguely, he could hear her even breathing, and she was in a deep sleep.

Colbert went into the bathroom and took a shower. Then he went to the bed and lay down.

However, as soon as he lay down, Eudora hugged him like an octopus, her legs pressing directly on his

body. She was like hugging a plush doll, and her small face rubbed against his.

The two were very close. His breath sprayed on her face, maybe making her a little uncomfortable. She

rubbed down and then fell asleep peacefully on his arm.

Colbert looked at her close at hand. She had fair and tender skin, delicate features, and pretty

eyebrows. Her eyelashes were as long as butterfly wings, and under the small nose were charming red

lips.

There was a mole on the left side of her nose, which invisibly added to her sexy charm, revealing the

beauty of a mature woman, which made him fall a little.

Colbert raised her hand to brush her blonde hair. She used to have long hair reaching her waist, but

after a fire, her hair was burned a lot, and now it only reached the collarbone.

"So annoying..."

He stroked her hair. The hair slid across her cheeks, making her feel itchy. She patted Colbert's hand

displeasedly, then rubbed against him.

Eudora, who was sleeping soundly, thought that a mosquito was biting her.

But to Colbert, she rubbed against him like a disobedient kitten, stirring the fire in his body invisibly,

which made him a little uncomfortable.

Colbert was unable to control himself. He had never felt anything like that.

Corey's words came to his mind. "Mr. Steele, do you like Ms. Stanford?"
