Chapter 113

Chapter 113 When Is Eudora So Important?

Steele Hospital.

After Colbert received Corey's call, he vaguely felt that something was wrong.

Eudora did want to leave earlier. When he saw her in the ward, she was sleepy but stubbornly unwilling

to sleep and insisted on leaving the hospital.

Thinking of her being kidnapped last night, the fire, and the monitoring problem in Steele Hospital

today...

They all pointed to one thing.

That was...

Eudora was in danger!

"Ring..."

Suddenly, Colbert's cell phone rang. He glanced coldly at the cell phone on the low table and saw

Corey's name on the screen.

He walked over and answered the phone, "Did you find her?"

"The subordinates are trying their best to find Ms. Stanford. But just now, I received a call from

Camford Country, saying there was an accident in the branch. You need to go there to deal with the

matter immediately."

Corey briefly explained the situation to Colbert on the phone.

Before Colbert replied, Corey continued to ask, "Mr. Steele, I've already booked a flight ticket for you in

half an hour."

There were few flights from Kenison City to Camford Country, so Corey could only book the nearest

ticket.

The next flight was seven hours away.

The issue in the branch in Camford Country was urgent. Seven hours later would be too late.

Colbert had always been work-oriented, but today he seemed a little hesitant when he heard Corey's

words.

"Colbert, come in."

In the ward, Belinda called Colbert.

He hung up the phone and walked into the ward.

Seeing him coming in, Belinda waved to him and said with a severe expression, "I just received a call.

There is a problem with the Camford Country branch. You should go over immediately."

When Colbert received the call, Belinda also received a call.

Belinda initially thought that Colbert would immediately pack up and rush to Camford Country when he

heard about the news, but she unexpectedly noticed Colbert's hesitation.

Not only Belinda but even Alva noticed Colbert's abnormality.

In the business field, everyone knew that Colbert was a workaholic. But now he delayed work because

of Eudora.

Since when did Eudora hold such a heavyweight in his heart?

Alva was calm and composed on the surface, but her heart was wholly occupied by jealousy.

"Grandma, I will be worried if Colbert goes to Camford Country alone. Can you let me go with him?"

Alva affectionately held Belinda's hand and pleaded like an innocent schoolgirl.

Going to Camford Country was an excellent opportunity for Alva to spend time alone with Colbert.

She definitely didn't want to miss it.

More importantly, she found Colbert cared much more about Eudora than she had imagined. Alva had

to keep an eye on him lest Colbert found any clues and put the Baldwin family in a passive situation.

Belinda didn't like Alva being around all the time, so it was a good idea to send her away for this

reason.

She nodded approvingly, looked up at Colbert, and said seriously, "Alva is sincere to you. You can takenovelbin

her to Camford Country. After all, she is also your fianceé."

She was ordering but not asking Colbert's opinion.

Colbert's cold eyes darkened slightly. Before he could refuse, Alva smiled gently and thanked Belinda,

overjoyed. "Thank you, Grandma. You are so kind."

"You don't need to thank me. Time is running out. You go back and pack your things quickly. Don't be

late."

Belinda exhorted Alva.

"Okay. I'll go back and pack now."

Belinda agreed so readily. It was entirely beyond Alva's expectations. She stood up and walked

outside, not forgetting to say to Colbert, "Colbert, wait for me. I will come right away."

Although Alva was engaged to Colbert, she had lived in her own house until now. She had no chance

to get close to Colbert.

If she could go to Camford Country with Colbert this time, she must seize this opportunity to have an

intimate relationship with Colbert.

Colbert's handsome face was cold. His cold eyes glanced at Alva with deep displeasure.

But even if Alva saw it, she ignored him and walked out, wanting to go home quickly to get her

passport.
