Chapter 364 Unwilling To Meet Josiah

Lysander had never attended a wedding on a cruise ship before, so there was also a hint ofuneasiness. Should I be wearing evening wear or something on such a grand occasion!

Adrian comforted her by saying, “It’s not some formal business banquet. It’s more like a large party withyoung people. Everyone is just there to have fun. No one is going to be all uptight about dressingformally. Wear whatever makes you comfortable.”

Those words finally put Lysander at ease.

In her hurried departure, she hadn’t packed many clothes. However, out of respect for the newlyweds, she managed to find a relatively formal outfit from the few she had brought.

She wore a white round–neck t–shirt paired with a long black skirt. The combination of black and white.was always a choice that couldn’t go wrong.

In the morning, when Adrian came to pick her up, he took in her appearance.

She asked. “Is this okay?”

Adrian pointed to his own polo shirt and jeans. “You seem a bit more formal than me.”

At this point, Lysander was completely at ease.

On the road, her phone rang several times. Calls came in from both Josiah and Daphne.

She only answered the call from Daphne, who excitedly expressed that the doctor Lysander hadrecommended was incredibly skilled. Delores had already started to improve. Daphne also indicatedthat she would probably go to Stounia in a few days.

Lysander chuckled. “I just sent the gift back. I’m not sure when it will arrive. Weren’t you the one whooffered to help me deliver it?”

Daphne readily agreed by replying. “How could I possibly go back on my word? Rest assured, international shipping isn’t slow these days. Once I’ve sent off your gift, I’ll come over straight away.

“You don’t need to rush. Spend more time with Old Mrs. Everhart. When she’s feeling weak, sheappreciates it when the younger generation visits her more often.”

“All right, don’t worry. I know what I’m doing.”

After hanging up the phone, Lysander could already see the pier and the vast blue sea.

After parking the car, Adrian took her to board the ship.

Surrounding them, people came and went. There were those with golden hair and blue eyes, andothers with black hair and black eyes. Yet, just as Adrian had said, everyone was dressed quitecasually.

“I didn’t lie, right?”

Lysander nodded. “Do you know all the guests here today?”

Adrian’s expression was somewhat subtle. “The guy? Well, I guess you could say we know each other, but we’re not close.”

“Did they also study medicine?”

“My senior, like me, studied anesthesiology while the guy studied business.”

Lysander gave a slight nod. “If you spot anyone you know, feel free to go and greet them. Don’t worryabout me. I’ll be fine just enjoying the view from the deck.”

Adrian was a bit worried. “Can you manage on your

Lysander chuckled lightly. “I was a bit worried initially, but hearing what you just said, I feel much moreat ease. Not everyone attending the wedding today knows each other, right? There must be many likeyou, who are friends or relatives of one side. Isn’t it quite normal not to know the others?”

A gentle smile appeared in Adrian’s eyes. “You’re right.”

“Don’t worry about me, just go. Truth be told, I came out today mainly to avoid seeing Josiah.”

Coincidentally, someone nearby greeted Adrian, “Hey, Adrian! Long time no see.

Lysander gave him a slight push. “Go ahead. I’ll just take a stroll on the deck.”

Adrian advised her, “If you’re tired, you can go inside the cabin. There’s a lounge in there.”

“All right.
