Chapter 276 Who Should Be Chosen

Lysander said, “What are you planning to do?”

Josiah replied, “What do you want me to do?”

“What do I want you to do?”

“Mmm-hmm.”

And so, Lysander lifted his head, looking toward Yvonne.

Yvonne’s eves flickered with panic, but she still managed to maintain her composure. “At worst. I’ll befired. My family is wealthy. I don’t need to cling to a man. This job is optional for me. Besides, whenLysander initially let me into Guerra Group. I never planned on doing any real work.”

Daphne chuckled. “Yeah, you’re not really a legal advisor, are you? You’re just a spy, right? Who’s Mr.Guerra talking to right now?”

“Mr. Guerra would never do that. I’m not afraid to tell you, Lysanne means a lot to Mr. Guerra. It’s notsomething prople like you can understand.”

“What does she mean to him? Don’t follow the cliché plot of trashy novels, claiming that they’ll betogether for eternity, okay?”novelbin

Yvonne, her nose held high, sneered, “Anyway, I’ll just say one thing, it doesn’t matter if you have mefired. Mr. Guerra will absolutely never leave Lysander If you don’t believe me, let’s wait and see.”

Daphne pouted, making a face at the phone screen, and roared, “That’s great, let jerks and sluts of theworld stay together so they don’t bring harm to others.”

She then ruthlessly hung up.

“Yvonne Daphne? What are you doing here?”

It was Aiden, who had his arm wrapped around a lady with a sexy figure.

Additionally, there were two other people. One was his brother, Adrian, and the other was someoneLysander didn’t know.

Daphine whispered in her ear. “That’s Zane Yarrow?

Aidden was

shrewd man, his eyes glistening as he chuckled. “It’s quite a sight to see several beautiful womenarguing How about everyone calm down? Filgive everyone a treat today. Just do me this favor, okay?”

Sniggering. Yvonne snapped, “Why are you sticking your nose into our business? Shouldn’t you bespending time with your busty bosom there?”

“Busty bosons are common, but beauties are rare.”

With just a few words from Aiden. Yvonne’s heart fluttered wildly. “I wonder how many young girls

you’ve deceived with that tongue of yours. You should really mind your behavior.”

“What’s wrong with my behavior? My ex-girlfriends all speak highly of me, don’t you too?”

Yvonne made a gesture as if to slap him.

“Cut it out. It’s been a long time since we broke up. We can

still be friends if you don’t bring up the past.”

“Fine. If you don’t want me to mention it, I won’t. You’re the boss.”

Daphne pulled Lysander to leave. “Let’s go out.”

Yvonne suddenly reached out to block their path, sneering at Aiden, “Aiden, whose side are you on?”

Aiden laughed. “This isn’t an election. It doesn’t matter which side I take.”

“This is Dr. Thorne, you should know her, right?”

Aiden felt somewhat awkward. “Haha, um, I do… I do!

“Good. She just called Josiah to tattle on me. If he’s going to fire me, will you help?”

Aiden’s sense of awkwardness grew. “It’s not my place to interfere is Josiah’s company affairs, is it?

“Cut the act. Everyone knows that you treat Josiah like your own brother. So, let me ask you, who doyou support to be his wife? Lysanne or Dr, Thorne?”

Aiden helplessly said, “Don’t ask me about this issue. You should be asking Josiah instead.”

“Isn’t Josiah’s answer obvious? Given how he treated Lysanne for the last twenty years, everyone cantell

where his heart is.”

Aiden touched his nose, continuing his persuasion. “vie, it’s pointless to make things difficult for Dr.Thorne. Why don’t you let them go, and I’ll take you out for karaoke?”

When Yvonne saw him continuously changing the subject, her temper flared up. She put her hands onher hips, pointed at Aiden’s nose, and scolded, “Aiden You must make a choice today, Lysanne or Dr.Thorne, whose side are you on?”

“If you insist on standing by Lysanne, then we can still be friends. If you can’t tell right from wrong. I’llcut all ties between us.”

“Come on, aren’t you being dramatic? We’ve grown up together since we were children. Why shouldyou cut ties over this?”

“Just tell me, whose side are you on?”

Yvonne was met with silence.

“Speak up!”.
