Vince’s face darkened in an instant.
“Not just that, but the killer from the House of Phantoms was caught alive too.”
“I was informed that the killer’s unconscious right now. They haven’t got anything out just yet.”
“Selena already gave Lord York a call, so he’ll dispatch a few interrogation experts.”

After entering the password and verifying both his fingerprints and iris, a number was immediatelydialed.
“What is it?”
A severe voice could be heard from the other side of the phone.
“I just got word. The killer Madam York hired from the House of Phantoms failed.”
“I need you to bring the killer back for questioning.”
“I don’t want anybody to smear my name using this incident.”
The other side of the phone was silent for a brief
moment.
“Remember, Vince. This is the last time you’ll order me around as the young lord of the Yorks.”
“I’ll do whatever it takes to help you.”
“But after this, if you’re still not the new head of the family…”
“We’re done.”
A cold expression flashed on Vince’s face. Nevertheless, he replied with a warm tone.
“Don’t worry, Julian.”
“I won’t do anything to hurt you.”
Dusk was soon approaching. Rain poured down from the gloomy sky, turning the already annoyingweather into more of a nuisance.
