Chapter 5519

Chapter 5519

Westley’s eyes twitched after hearing Harvey's words.

Even if Westley decided to cause trouble in the future, it wouldn't affect Harvey at all. Thus, Harvey had no intention of puttingany sort of restrictions.

Westley was a little unhappy to know that. But since he still had other things to do, he took a deep breath before speaking upagain.

“Let me ask you something, Sir York. Are you interested in expanding in Wolsing?”

"What if | do? What if | don’t?" Harvey asked.

“If you do, Young Master Emery said he'd prepare you a gift.

“If you go, you'll become the government's consultant there.

Maybe you'd even rise as the country’s imperial preceptor!

“And if you make Wolsingthe main branch of your businesses...

Young Master Emery’s willing to give you two years of tax exemption.”

Harvey chuckled. "Two years of tax exemption and the position of the country's imperial preceptor?

Tempting! What would the price of that be?"

Westley smiled.

"Simple! Be a guest in Young Master Emery’s residence! We'll all be family after that! There's no point in hiding things from eachother anymore, right? How does that sound?” he said.

Harvey chuckled.

"Sounds fine. Except, none of you are sincere. | don’t get much out of the transaction, anyway. This is simply not enough.”“Not enough?!”

Westley took a deep breath.

"Young Master Emery said something else, too! When he rises to power, you'll be able to become one of the nine great elders ofthe country!”

Harvey smiled.

"Go back and tell him something. I’ve met a lot of people who promised me a lot...

“But this is my first time seeing someone promise me the entire world!

“Tell him to stop dreaming already!"

Harvey then turned around and left.

Westley couldn't help but sigh while looking at Harvey’s back. He knew Harvey would be tough to recruit, but he didn’t think thatit'd be this tough.

He had no choice but to dial a number.

“It failed, Young Master John. Sir York's completely impenetrable.”

“| got it," Blaine replied.

“If that’s the case, just let me handle the rest. We can't stall the situation anymore. I'll deal with it as quickly as | can.”

Two hours later, Harvey came back to the Fortune Hall.

Alot of customers were happy when he was finally taking care of them again. Soon enough, the entire place was filled withpeople.

After dealing with all the customers, Harvey felta little tired.

He was about to get Castiel and the others to close the place for the day.

He was planning to hang out in Kairi’s place instead. The next day would be Damon's inauguration ceremony.

The John family was clever enough to not do anything during this period of time, making Harvey feel as if they were plottingsomething behind the scenes.

Right as Fortune Hall was about to close, the sounds of an engine were heard. A car parked on the road at the front.

Aman with well-kept hair and donning a black suit came out of the car. He crossed his arms as he reached the entrance, andlooked around curiously.

"Good evening, Sir York,” he said respectfully as he approached Harvey.novelbin
