The phone was quickly connected, and Yvonne’s voice came from the other end of the phone.“President, I have already dismissed Don Xander following your instructions. At the same time, I havealso let the lawyers follow up on the company’s project funds that he has embezzled.”

“Miss…Miss Xavier…” Don was startled when he heard the familiar voice. At this moment, he felt asense of dizziness that started to blur his vision.

The knife in his hand fell on the ground. He muttered, “How is it possible? How can a useless person likeyou be the new president? This is impossible! It’s impossible!”

“Impossible! The younger generations of the Yorks were all well-known. You can’t be…” Don keptshaking his head. He was about to go crazy at this moment. He had already guessed the truth, but herefused to believe it. The trash that he looked down on could ruin him easily, just like crushing an ant.

“Please, please tell me who you are? Even if you want me d**d, don’t send me to the grave not knowingwho you are.” Don had a meltdown and was about to cry.

“Don’t you know that the Yorks did have an heir before?” Harvey said calmly.

“You’re…Sir…” Don completely broke down. He knelt and kowtowed. “Sir, please forgive me. It’s my faultfor not recognizing you. Can you let me go? Just let me go as if I was nothing. I dare not do it again. I

promise I will never pester your wife again. I promise that I will not appear in front of you again. Pleasespare my life. Please give me a way out.”

Harvey smiled and said, “Didn’t you say that you aren’t going to let me see the sun tomorrow?”

“Sir, Sir, I must be as blind as a bat. Please, please let me live! I couldn’t survive if this goes on. I haveworked hard for so many years in York Enterprise. Can you give me a chance for the sake of it?” Donkowtowed while crying.

“Get lost. You can do whatever you want. Just don’t appear in front of me in the future anymore.” Harveydid not want to waste his time and energy on this little man. It would be fine as long as he did not get onhis nerves.

“Thank you, Sir. Thank you, Sir!” Don kept on kowtowing and did not care about other people’s strangegazes. He was confident that he would rise again as long as Harvey was willing to let him go.

Harvey did not speak anymore. He turned around and found his electric bike. He rode on it and left. Itseemed that he could not return to the house tonight. Thus, he went to the company.

Some passers-by who were onlookers were all stunned. What was going on? These days, even aperson who was just riding an electric bike could have somebody kneeling to him?

Meanwhile, in the Zimmer Villa, Senior Zimmer continued to hold meetings.

No one cared about Harvey being taken away as a hostage.

Senior Zimmer was sullen at this moment. “We initially wanted Don to help us get the investment fromYork Enterprise. Unexpectedly, this guy was also a useless b* stard. Now let’s talk about it. What can wedo to get the investment?”

“Father, do we truly need this fund that much?” Sean frowned and said.

“Of course! Have you forgotten that we bought a piece of land at the commercial center last year? Wespent a lot of money on that land last year. Most of the family’s working capital was invested in it. Now,we have cash-flow problems, and more money is needed to invest in that land.

“If we can get the investment from York Enterprise smoothly, then everything will be fine. We’ll be able todevelop that commercial center and also ride on their coattails. Then, the Zimmer family will be able tosqueeze into the first-class family line-up in Niumhi…”

Senior Zimmer’s face was solemn when he said this. “In short, we better rely on ourselves rather thanother people. We have to find a way to get on with the new president. Only then, we-the Zimmer familywould rise again!”
