Chapter 4631

Chapter 4631

Mandy seemed a little gloomy after saying those words.

Her greed drove her into getting more contracts and get closer to Silas, causing her to misunderstandHarvey even more.

If that wasn't the case, the two could've been remarried by now.

Regret surged in Mandy's heart.

She was worried Harvey would have feelings for Kairi because of this. What was she going to do if thatwere to happen?

"You still hate my brother?!"

Alma looked bitter.

"Not only did you cancel every single one of the contracts you had with him, but you also kept avoidingme whenever I invited you out!

You're clearly disrespecting me!

"Do you hate me, too?!"

Alma signaled the waiter to bring a cocktail that was prepared beforehand.

Mandy hesitated for a moment when she looked at Alma's sincere expression.

"Trust me, I don't think less of you because of your brother," Mandy said, taking the cocktail.

"You and your brother are two different people.

"Let's just end this here. Tell Young Master John that I don't hate him, nor do I want him to makeamends.

"I wish all the best for him.novelbin

"There's no point in getting close to a divorced woman like me.

"Also, I want him to stop coming to my house from now on.

"My parents won't be able to accept his kindness.

"We're simply unworthy!"

Alma seemed to be struggling with regret after hearing Mandy's words.

"How am I supposed to tell my brother this, Mandy?

"He's going crazy because of you!

"For the sake of our friendship, I'll tell him this.

"But there's something you need to agree to as well!"

Alma looked stern.

"No matter what, I don't want us to fight..

We'll always be good friends forever, okay?"

Alma raised her glass.

Mandy froze, and she raised her cocktail as well.

"Of course. We'll always be good friends..."

She then took a sip of her cocktail.

Alma grinned slyly, then downed her glass.

The two had a polite conversation, but they could feel the distance between each other.

Mandy seemed gloomier because of this. She stood up, ready to leave the miserable place.

As soon as she got to her car, her body swayed. Suddenly, she went limp.

'No!'

Mandy suddenly realized: Alma had drugged her!

"Oh, Mandy! You should really should be more aware of your limits."

Alma appeared from behind, grinning. Her eyes were filled with unspeakable ruthlessness.

Mandy had never seen this side of Alma's.
