Chapter 4284

On the next day, early in the morning.novelbin

Harvey York already left his room.

He hesitated when he walked past Mandy Zimmer's room. He did not want to knock on the door incase a fight were to break out again.

Lilian Yates was on a call with someone when Harvey came to the living room.

She looked away, with disdain showing on her face, as soon as he walked past.

Naturally, she knew why he was fighting with Mandy the night before. She had been talking about hisshameless acts on the phone for the longest time.

Harvey glared at Lilian without saying a word before he left. Right as he was heading out, Lilianmentioned Aunt Anderson's name.

Harvey was confused.

'She's still talking to Aunt Anderson?'

After all, Lilian should have been completely against her after what had happened last time.

Harvey did not pay much attention since it was a trivial matter. He quickly got inside his car beforedriving to Fortune Hall.

"Have you eaten breakfast yet, Sir York?"

Leona Foley was already awake by the time Harvey was there.

Her eyes were fully recovered. She was also handling some of Fortune Hall's business.

Harvey smiled while shaking his head.

Leona smiled back.

"I made some snacks. Do you want some?"

Leona was wearing a floral mini-skirt. Her hair swayed beautifully, completely grabbing Harvey'sattention and her slender legs.

When she got a little closer, a refreshing air wafted right toward Harvey.

Harvey's heart skipped a beat before he showed a faint smile.

"Thank you, Leona."

"I should be thanking you instead. Not only did you give me my eyesight back, you even saved my life.Leona was gracefully moving around.

"It's a shame that my grandfather wouldn't let me take a look at the customers, saying that I'd be indanger again if I kept helping.

"I'm here all thanks to you. If I got in trouble again, I don't know if anyone would be able to save meagain."

Harvey enjoyed the snacks Leona brought over while he pondered the situation.

"Your grandfather's right. It'd be bad for you to read other people again.

"How about this? I'll get you into Golden Estate to appraise buildings and lands instead.

"More importantly, there are some important projects that I need your help with as well."

Leona was shocked.

"Are you serious, Sir York?

"You're asking me to be Golden Estate's geomancy expert?"

Harvey chortled.

"Not exactly. More like a geomancy assistant, I guess...

"Of course, I'd like you to also deal with the company's management. You'll be my spokesperson for thecompany."

Leona showed a calm smile after hearing Harvey's words.

"No problem. I took management courses when I was studying in America previously. I still have someexperience with me..."

"Good!

Harvey quickly stood up.

"That's settled then! Other than a geomancy consultant, you'll also be my spokesperson,"

replied Harvey decisively.

"You can decide on things for me while I'm gone.

"That said, CEO Hoffman has the final say in terms of the company.

Leona blinked a few times.

"So, you're saying I have to take care of CEO Hoffman for you?"

Harvey smiled.

"You don't have to. I'm the company's major shareholder but am used to being hands-off anyway.Besides, I'm just an outsider in the city. You don't have to overthink the situation.

"I asked you to be my spokesperson because I'm lazy. That's all there is to it."
