Chapter 4147

Chapter 4147

Harvey pondered about the situation for a moment.

“Show me your knife.”

At that, Kellan set his knife respectfully in front of Harvey.

It was the same old knife he had with him for the longest time, but not a single speck of dust

could be seen on it.

Harvey frowned.

“Did you clean it up?”

Zarla chuckled coldly after seeing Harvey’s stern look; he looked as if he was convinced everything hesaid was right.

“I didn’t want the cops to ask about it. That was why I cleaned it up…” Kellan said in a shaky voice.

“You idiot!”

Harvey sighed.

“I told you to bring the knife with you to calm the evil energy in your body, maybe even dissipate it bit bybit.”

“It’s completely useless now that you’ve cleaned it up.”

“Another thing. If I’m guessing correctly, you saw someone die before your eyes just yesterday, didn’tyou?”

Kellan and his subordinates shivered after hearing Harvey’s words. They were so startled, the glass intheir hand dropped.

They stared at Harvey; they couldn’t believe what they had just heard.

The corner of Kellan’s mouth twitched.

“As expected from Sir York!”

“You’re a lot more impressive compared to one of the top ten geomancy masters, Jon Surrey.”

“You didn’t even ask if I saw someone die in front of my eyes!”

“That’s right. I saw a few young b*stards racing in the middle of the road before one of them crashedinto a flower bed.”

“The woman sitting behind was the one who died. She was wearing a red dress, too…”

Kellan was completely impressed, as if Harvey had done something unbelievable.

Zarla, however, chuckled with a disdainful gaze.

Naturally, she didn’t think that any of this was remotely impressive.

With just some money to hire a private investigator, even Kellan’s dinner the night before could be

easily known.

“It’s pretty clear Kellan isn’t the brightest mind out there. To be fooled by such a silly trick…’

Even Cliff, who had been nothing but respectful, coldly chuckled. His eyes were ice.

At this point, he was sure that Harvey was just a con man.

Harvey, meanwhile, ignored the two completely and continued talking..

“The evil energy has been residing inside you for a while because of the mirror.”

“Plus, you cleaned up the knife that was supposed to help you dissipate the evil energy.”

“Simply put, you’ll be more easily affected by evil energy now more than ever.”

“The energy of the woman who passed away got transferred to you.”

“That’s why you’re constantly in such bad situations!”

“In any case, luck is a mysterious thing…”

“You’re so unlucky that you’ve gotten yourself into these incidents, yet you’re still alive now and wereable to get my help. You must be pretty lucky yourself!”

Harvey thought about the situation once more.

“If I’m correct, you have red dots on your chest. These dots should be converging right toward yourheart,”

“Medically speaking, this is called a shingle. However, locals call it The Haunt”.”

“Once The Haunt converges, nothing can save you!”

Harvey then glanced at Kellan’s chest with a profound look.novelbin
