“You must be joking, Mr. Burton, It’ll be bad if people misunderstand.”
“Misunderstand? What’s there to misunderstand?”
Thomas burst out laughing.
“The entire business circle here knows that CEO Zimmer herself is a kind andbeautiful lady! It’s been a while since I’ve pursued you!”
“Enough dreaming!” Jovie hissed.
“Mandy already has a partner!”
“This right here is the legendary live-in son-in-law, Harvey York! He’s Mandy’s ex-husband.”
“I heard that they’re just about to get remarried, too,”
“You filthy men have no chance!”
The men all gasped after hearing Jovie’s words.
Even Thomas was filled with shock when he looked at Harvey; he couldn’t believewhat he had just heard.
Nobody thought that such an ordinary-looking man was actually Mandy’slegendary live-in
husband.
“That said, I heard that Aunty Yates doesn’t like him at all. It’s hard to say if themarriage will actually be a success or not.”

Mandy frowned, glaring at Vienna with a fierce expression.
They were good friends, and Mandy knew that Vienna was doing this for hersake…

The women instinctively retracted their slender legs, thinking that Harvey woulddirty them just by looking at them.
Thomas froze, but then he handed his card respectfully to Harvey.
“Hello! My name’s Thomas Burton. Nice to meet you.”
Thomas thought that Harvey looked like a shabby small fry as well, but since hehimself came from humble beginnings, he understood that he shouldn’t changehis attitude just because of someone’s attire.
He was afraid Harvey would be embarrassed to death here, and thus decided tohelp Harvey out.
Harvey froze for a while, then took the card and glanced at it a few times.

“If you need any help here in the future, just give me a call.”
“I’ll do my best, as thanks for this card you gave me.”
The people around scoffed after hearing Harvey’s words.
