Chapter 3395

Chapter 3395

“Of course, no one can do that,” replied Harvey York calmly.

“In reality, Black Rose would just sit in a corner so people outside wouldn’t be able to see her.

“But, when I arrived at the hospital, I smelled something.

“It wasn’t just any fragrance. It was the smell of agarwood, an Indian specialty.

“I knew an Indian was here as soon as I smelled it.

“I didn’t know if you were planning to come for my people or not…

“But I like to be a little careful. That was why I sent a text to Black Rose so she could prepare herself.

“When you came knocking on the door, I smelled the same scent on you.

“I immediately identified you after that.

“But since I didn’t know what your motives were, I did my best to put up a show.

“As for what happened next, you know better than I do.”

Harvey calmly explained the entire situation to show his sincerity.

At the same time, he wanted Wren to fall into despair.

After all, to a prideful woman like her, it was more painful that her plans were foiled that easily than forher to die.

“That was it…”

Wren was on the verge of coughing up blood. She knew she should not have taken an incense bath asper tradition.

She did not expect her habit was going to be the only thing that exposed her.

After letting out a sigh, Wren gritted her teeth as she stared back at Harvey.

“You killed my brother, and now you crippled me!

“Kill me if you dare!

“If you don’t, I’ll make you pay for it!

“The Garcia family and the Celestial Temple will make sure of it!”

Harvey squinted at Wren with a smirk on his face.

“You’re provoking me instead of begging for mercy? Do you really want to die?

“It sure seems that way.

“But I’m a good citizen. There’s no way I can just kill whoever I want.

“Now that you’re mine, there’s proof of you people trying to snuff me out.

“I’m sure your family and the Celestial Temple should give me a fair statement at this point, right?”

“A good citizen, you say?

Wren showed a cold gaze as she coldly chuckled.

“You’re still pretending at this point?!

“You killed my brother and had the gall to call yourself a good citizen?!

“F*ck you!”

“Who said I killed your brother?

Harvey looked at Wren as if she was an idiot.

“Nobody said that a good citizen wouldn’t kill either.

“Besides, who do you think your brother is? He has no right to die by my own hands.

“You must be joking.”

Wren was utterly infuriated when she heard such righteous words coming from Harvey’s mouth.

This was far worse than just killing. Harvey was completely torturing Wren’s heart.

Mandy froze after hearing Harvey’s words.

“You really didn’t kill him, Harvey?”

Harvey shrugged.

“A nobody like him isn’t worthy after all.

“These people are in over their heads.

“At this point, I don’t even need to do it myself if I want someone dead in Flutwell. They didn’t even takethat into consideration.

“These people must be idiots.

Harvey calmly smiled before he patted Wren’s face. novelbin

“Right. Take me to your people.

“I’ll settle scores with you sooner or later if I don’t get a fair statement about this.”
