Anna slept through the night and felt much better when she sat up, her beautiful eyes unconsciouslyscanning the surroundings. Luckily, he wasn't there.
The doctor arrived on time to check on her and after a brief inquiry, a smile appeared on his face."Don't take medicine randomly anymore. Even if you don't want children, Jimmy can take measuresto protect you," Dr. Lindsey said.
After hearing this advice, Anna was embarrassed as she wanted to explain that everything wascaused by her own "stupidity," but she was afraid of making things worse.
"Your body is still weak; I'll have the nurse give you an IV drip. Call me anytime if anything comesup." The doctor smiled and left but stopped after a few steps and turned around slowly.
"I've worked for the Harrison family for so many years, and this is my first time seeing Jimmy soconcerned about a woman like this... he treats you differently."
After saying these words, the doctor left.
The nurse skillfully gave Anna an IV drip before leaving the room to stand outside while Anna dozedoff in confusion. She thought she heard someone open the door before footsteps got closer to herbed - was it Jimmy?
Anna opened her heavy eyelids only to see Bryce standing beside her bed which ignited someinexplicable anger within her heart.
"What are you doing here?" Anna asked coldly.
Bryce looked embarrassed at hearing such coldness and resentment in Anna's voice.
"I heard that you fainted; I came over to see how you were doing." He whispered softly while placinghis supplements on top of a nearby cabinet.
Anna snorted disdainfully as she spoke, "Are you afraid that I would die and cause trouble? Sorryfor disappointing you. Not only am I alive but also won't be used or played around by you again."
As Anna spoke more, she became angrier, stood up and pulled out the needles from the back of herhand.
She couldn't forget how Bryce had made her share a room with Jimmy. Though they didn't havesex, such calculations made her feel humiliated.
"Anna, I sincerely apologize to you. I... shouldn't have done that, but I just wanted you to truly seeme and know that Jimmy is a man who can bring you happiness," Bryce said apologetically.
"Bryce, I cannot accept your apology. I will never forget that my boyfriend whom I deeply lovedturned out to be a cheating scumbag who was full of calculations. Being with you made me sick."Anna's sarcasm left Bryce speechless.
"I did indeed... flirt with other women and admit that I am not a good man, but I never intended tohurt you."
Anna snorted. "Although you didn't intend it, what you did hurt me. Betraying and heartlesslypushing me towards other men was the biggest insult to me. I will leave J. S. Entertainmentbecause seeing you constantly reminds me of how dirty of a scumbag you are," she said coldly.
"You're leaving the company?" Bryce looked surprised.
"Do I have to stay in this company forever? Continue working with someone like you? Sorry, but nothanks," Anna said coldly while looking at Bryce, her eyes filled with irony and disgust.
Bryce sighed heavily. "Being a singer in the entertainment industry is your dream, isn't it? J. S.Entertainment is your platform for success. Don't let my mistake affect your future."
Bryce earnestly advised her while Anna mockingly curved her red lips. "J. S. Entertainment mayindeed be my platform for achieving my dreams but... you are also there in J. S. Entertainmentwhich makes it impossible for me to face or deal with anymore. Please don't pretend like caringabout me when all it does is ruin my good mood."

Looking at Anna's face, which was filled with disgust and contempt, Bryce had no choice but to turnaround and head towards the door.

Hearing Anna call his name, Bryce immediately stopped in his tracks, his eyes lighting up. Did shedecide to forgive him?
"Please take your things with you. I don't want to dirty my eyes," Anna said as she pointed to thesupplements on top of the cabinet, her expression emotionless.
Bryce's hope was shattered in an instant by Anna's insistence. He reluctantly took the supplementsand walked towards the door. However, he stopped once again before leaving.
"Jimmy is sincere about you. I have never seen him care so much about a woman before. Soplease consider it seriously..."
Before Bryce could finish speaking, Anna's cold voice interrupted him.
"Do I have to thank him for liking me? Sorry, I'm not interested in playing games with rich second-generation men like you two. Your existence only reminds me of how you played with my feelings."
Anna's resentful tone left Bryce feeling helpless. To avoid saying something wrong that would angerher further, he left the hospital room dejectedly.
Not long after Bryce left, Mia arrived at the hospital room carrying a bag of fruit.
Seeing her best friend arrive made Anna finally show a faint smile on her previously disgusted face.
"Oh? Where is Mr. Harrison?" Mia asked.
"He carried you away in front of us yesterday, which made us so jealous. Anna, after you broke upwith Bryce, you gained Mr. Harrison's attention. You're so lucky," said Mia jealously.
"He only cares about company trainees and doesn't want any trouble; if it were someone elseinstead of me, then he would still send them into hospital," replied Anna nonchalantly.
Mia nodded.
"Now all trainees are discussing your relationship with both Mr. Harrison and Bryce; however, Ialways believe that you are not that kind of girl who likes playing with men... You didn't do anythingintimate with Mr. Harrison, did you?"
Mia probed cautiously while looking deep into Anna's eyes and eagerly waiting for one answer.
