Chapter 836 Afraid He Will Hurt Her Boyfriend

Chapter 836 Afraid He Will Hurt Her Boyfriend

"He really looks for every opportunity to get close to Anna," Bryce thought teasingly, his eyes fallingon Jimmy as he approached them.

Following Bryce's gaze, Anna saw Jimmy. "Why is he here again?" she thought anxiously as shemet his intense eyes that were both sharp and burning. A sense of foreboding rose in her heart.

Thinking back to the predatory kiss that Jimmy had given her at the restaurant last night, Anna'sface turned pale. If Bryce found out about it, he would be furious and seek revenge on Jimmy. Buthow could Bryce possibly be a match for Jimmy?

No, she couldn't let Bryce know what happened last night even if it meant enduring humiliationherself.

Taking a few deep breaths to calm herself down, Anna regained her composure by the time Jimmyreached her. She smiled sweetly.

"What a coincidence! Would you like to sit together?" Bryce asked knowingly with a playful glint inhis eyes.

Unlike his usual cold demeanor, the version of Jimmy today was more amiable with a light smileplaying on his lips. However, those deep-set eyes remained locked onto Anna, making it impossiblefor her not to recall the image of being forcefully kissed by him last night.novelbin

"The steak tasted good last night," remarked Jimmy which made Anna's anger flare up inside - Hemust have done it intentionally!

"Bryce, I've been training all morning and haven't quite mastered everything yet... I want to go backand practice some more... can you take me back?" pleaded Anna softly, fearing that any mention ofwhat happened between her and Jimmy would come up from Jimmy.

Her sweet voice sounded incredibly tempting.

Bryce glanced over at Jimmy once again, catching another warning glare from him - daring him notinterfere or meddle in their affairs - before finally deciding to play matchmaker for his good friendinstead!

"Anna, your health is important. After lunch, I'll make sure to take you back home. Eat a little more, okay?" Bryce refused her offer and Anna bit her lip in bitterness.

Bryce ordered food for the three of them and Anna couldn't leave just yet.

The atmosphere between the three of them was strange. Jimmy noticed that Anna looked at Brycewith gentle eyes but when she looked at him, it was full of disdain.

Jimmy's eyes glinted as he spoke calmly, "Something interesting happened last night at therestaurant."

Anna felt like she was going crazy hearing his words while Bryce eagerly asked what happened.

Anna was both nervous and annoyed by Bryce's constant questioning.

Jimmy smiled, "Really want to know?"

Bryce prodded, "Sure, say."

"It's really unforgettable. Maybe it should happen again to jog someone's memories."

Jimmy's meaningful words made the corners of Anna's mouth twitch.

He knew what she was afraid of - Bryce found out what happened between them last night. Yet hestill brought it up as if unintentionally. Obviously, he was giving her a hard time.

"Mr. Harrison, if you don't have anything nice to say during dinner then don't say anything at all."

Anna really wanted to cover his mouth.

Bryce excused himself to go use the restroom and Anna finally turned her gaze towards Jimmy.

She spoke directly in a warning tone, "What happened last night was a mistake. I won't tell Bryceabout this and ruin your brotherhood... Mr. Harrison, I hope you know your place and don't doanything to hurt Bryce."

Was she afraid he would hurt Bryce?

Jimmy raised an eyebrow, his expression turning slightly sour.

He stood up directly and sat in the seat next to Anna.

Before Anna could react, Jimmy's fingers were already clasped around her waist, pulling her into hisarms with just a little force.

Her slender waist that fit perfectly in his hand made Jimmy's heart skip a beat...
