Chapter 756 She Must Have Loved Him Very Much

The next day, Jane didn't go to the villa early like she usually did. Instead, she stayed at the hospitalwith Vivian, sitting by her bedside and listening to the mother in the next bed talking while Louis'words echoed in her mind.

She couldn't fool herself; she had feelings for Louis. She just suppressed them instinctively. Inaddition to being shocked by Louis' confession, there was also a hint of fear.

She thought that she must have loved him deeply before but didn't know why she gave up chasinghim. She struggled and hesitated too. Maybe losing her memory was also her own choice.

But now Louis hadn't done anything wrong to her. Her thoughts were all over the place and she hadno idea how to face him anymore.

Jane gently rubbed Vivian's hair and hesitated for a moment.

"Mommy, are you unhappy?" Vivian sensitively noticed Jane's emotional changes.

Jane looked at her daughter's innocent yet worried eyes and quickly smiled. "Nope! When I seeyou, my little angel, all unhappiness flies away."

Vivian grinned sweetly. "Mommy, can we go on a merry-go-round?"

Jane was stunned by Vivian's question.

"Ben said it was fun to play on a merry-go-round." Vivian frowned as she continued, "Mommy, if itcosts too much, then forget it."novelbin

Jane took a deep breath. Who could say no to such a kind child?

Moreover, for these past few years, Vivian had been following Jane around without joining in anyentertainment activities.

"Good girl! Let me ask Dr. Peck if your body allows it first."

"Okay!" Vivian's excited voice melted Jane's heart completely.

Jane turned around and consulted Wyatt about it.

"Dr. Peck, how is Vivian doing? Can I take her out for some fun?"

Wyatt flipped through Vivian's medical records and then nodded his head. "Vivian's condition hasbeen good lately, so mild recreational activities should be fine as long as she doesn't get tooexcited."

With Wyatt's approval, Jane felt relieved immediately, and led Vivian straight towards theamusement park that afternoon.

Jane bought tickets and entered the amusement park with Vivian. There were colorful balloons, fluffy cotton candy, adorable dolls, and brightly colored carousels. Despite the hustle and bustle ofpeople coming and going, it was still lively and festive.

Vivian nestled in Jane's arms, her two grape-like eyes were rolling around, and her small mouthwas open in amazement.

Jane saw Vivian's delighted expression and couldn't help but blame herself for neglecting her child'sgrowth.

Previously, she was too focused on making money and took Vivian everywhere with her. Vivian wasvery well-behaved and had never made any demands.

Fortunately, there weren't many people playing on the merry-go-round, so Jane took Vivian forseveral rounds and completely satisfied her curiosity.

"Mommy, I am sooo happy!" When they came out of the amusement park, Vivian's face was full ofexcitement.

Jane kissed her little face and said, "I am also very happy."

Not far away, an inconspicuous sedan was parked on the side of the road, and the air inside the carwas somewhat tense.

The driver looked at his boss's composed appearance, feeling uneasy and suddenly shivering - it'sso cold.

Louis rubbed the cufflink on his left hand, but his gaze was fixed on Jane outside the car. Suddenly,he saw something and felt a chill run through him.

"Drive ahead!"

"Bang-"

"Ah!"

The accident happened too quickly, Jane didn't even have time to react.

A flower pot fell from the sky and landed directly on the head of a passerby in front of Jane. The guydidn't even have time to make a sound before he collapsed to the ground.

The blood poured from the man's head, and Jane's blood almost froze

She belatedly covered Vivian's eyes, but it seemed too late.

Vivian had witnessed that tragic scene with her own eyes, and her young heart was touched by thesudden shock, which made her short of breath almost instantly, and her little hands tightly graspedher chest.

"Vivian!"

There were exclamations coming from all around, and the cacophony of noise was incessant.Passersby were anxiously dialing 911.

Recently, Vivian had been staying in the hospital, which made things very easy on Jane. So, Janedidn't know the small bottle of rescue pills in her bag had been empty. When she found it out, shehugged Vivian's tiny body and trembled all over.

She didn't have time to regret or blame herself. She just wanted to quickly send Vivian back to thehospital.

But as she turned her head and saw that familiar face, she didn't dwell on why Louis had suddenlyappeared. The priority was to get Vivian to the hospital!
