The next morning, Martha arrived at Catherine's palace, and found that the servants had clearedout most of her belongings. The once magnificent palace was now almost empty. After Catherine went mad in the hall, many ministers demanded that King Ducasse execute his ownmother. However, King Ducasse could not bring himself to do it and instead chose to send Catherine to amental institution abroad. Martha looked at the maid with confusion and repeated, "The medicines that Catherine QueenDowager takes?" "Yes," nodded the maid.
