Her words were laced with sarcasm, leaving Bryce feeling a bit awkward. After glancing at Anna'ssimple dress, he gently pursed his lips.
"Why not wear formal attire? It could set you apart from others at such an event and benefit yourfuture development," Bryce suggested.
Anna remained indifferent. "I rely on my abilities and don't seek attention. If you have nothing todiscuss, please leave. I want some time alone."
Anna calmly spoke and then walked away from the corner. Bryce sighed, feeling helpless. Itseemed that his deception had truly upset her.
Amidst the cheers, Anna caught sight of Jimmy entering the banquet hall... with a femalecompanion by his side. He wore a high-end tailored suit, exuding his domineering aura.
Bryce couldn't believe Jimmy had brought the company's hottest artist, Cali Evans, as his date. Hecarefully glanced at Anna, who showed no reaction. It seemed that Jimmy's pursuit of her would bea long and challenging road.
