Rose looked worried. All she wanted was for her children and her brother to be safe and not be discovered by Elliot. Lawrence was the only person she trusted to make this happen.

Lawrence chuckled at her and said, "Rose, I'm just concerned about you. Anyway, I won't say anymore. Just remember, if you need anything, don't hesitate to reach out."
Rose laughed lightly, "I know, I know, Lawrence, you're the best!"
As Lawrence gazed at her radiant smile, the complex feelings from earlier seemed to vanish, and he breathed a sigh of relief.
