Connor took a taxi to Candance’s house and then rushed to the Porthampton University with Sadie.
Sadie didn’t object to him going with her to go through the admission procedures because it wasCandance’s order.

“I heard that you often deliver food outside the school. Is that true?”

In fact, Sadie didn’t plan to invite Connor because she felt that he was too weak. Bringing him alongwould only embarrass her.
