Reiner - Our New Routine

Truthfully, I couldn’t stop smiling. I love him so much that it felt strange. I’ve never wanted anything ornovelbin

anyone so much like this. I thought that this journey would make me learn more about him, so I was

more than slightly surprised that it also made me learn a lot more about myself. After gazing and

getting a little lost in his beautiful blue eyes, I leaned down and kissed him squarely on the lips. We’ve

kissed so many times already, but it just didn’t feel like it was enough.

“You better stop doing that,” Reiner muttered as he broke our kiss and looked away from me.

“Why?” I asked in confusion.

“I don’t think your body can take another round right now…” Reiner muttered warningly.

“Oh…” I murmured before I started blushing at his words.

Unfortunately, I had to admit that he was probably right. I giggled a little at his words before rolling off of

him. I cuddled his large and heavy arm in mine instead as I pressed my body up against his side. At

that moment, I felt like I would be fully satisfied if I could just spend my entire life in bed with Reiner.

True to his words, Reiner came to pick me up every morning after that. We went to work together in the

morning and then we spent the whole day together at work. After work, Reiner drove me back to my

place or to the bar if I had to work there. After I had wrapped up my work for the day at the bar, he

drove me back to my place.

“Did you wait long?” I asked.

Reiner was leaning casually on his car as he waited for me to come down from my apartment in the

morning. It was another workday and after almost a week of implementing our new routine, we were

starting to get used to it. Honestly, I enjoyed this new rhythm of my life immensely and it was mostly

due to the fact that I got to spend so much time with Reiner. It made me feel like we were really a

couple. Although he was still officially engaged to another girl, my mind didn’t have any problem

sweeping that inconvenient issue under the rug when I saw him smiling at me every morning like this.

I’ll deal with all that sooner or later…

Being very closer to Reiner for most parts of the day and night made it very difficult for me to resist

teasing him. It was quite strange at first but soon we reverted to how it sort of used to be between us

when we were back at Lucien’s mansion. However, he was still my boss at work, and we had a lot of

work to do on our project. That didn’t mean that I couldn’t find the time to tease him at work.

“Knight…” I called his name as I reached out a hand and tapped lightly on his shoulder.

Reiner turned around immediately to face me, and I boldly wrapped my arms around his neck as I

stood up on my tiptoes. Reiner had a look of surprise on his face before my lips crushed onto his in a

firm kiss. I felt the heat of his hands on my waist as he held me to support my balance. My lips pressed

harder onto his as I began to kiss him hungrily. I moaned before sticking out my tongue to probe his lips

open. Reiner’s hands stroked the small of my back as he began kissing me back. His wet tongue

captured mine in a passionate dance before he changed the angle of our kiss. I moaned louder into our

kiss as our kiss got wilder.

“Try to act professional…we’re at the office…” Reiner warned sternly after breaking our hot kiss.

Despite his word of warning, his kisses left me breathless and weak in the knees. His large hand

supported the small of my back as he stared down at me with reprimanding eyes.

“You’re so uptight…” I muttered teasingly.

“And you’re acting unprofessional…” Reiner replied curtly.

“Ok ok…” I mumbled as I gave in.

It was always just the two of us alone together in his office and keeping my hands off of him was a

challenge that I haven’t yet figured out a way to overcome. Since adopting our new way of life, we

naturally spent more time together in bed and I had been quite successful in inviting Reiner to stay over

at my place on some nights. It had only been a week, but I felt like we’ve gotten so much closer that it

might have been a few months or years since we’ve started this.

During lunch break while we were having lunch together, Kat sent me a text message. As expected, it

was a desperate plead for me to turn up to the bar for work. I looked across the table at Reiner and

found that he was watching me.

“You should go. I’ll drive you…” he said before continuing with his food.

I smiled a little at how understanding he had become. It was like he was now a different person, and I

wasn’t quite sure what brought about the change. Regardless, I was over the moon happy and thankful

that he was being so understanding and supportive.

“Thank you…but…if I’m not wrong, you have an important dinner with some clients today,” I reminded

him.

It wasn’t rare for Reiner to work overtime or for him to have meetings or business engagement after

working hours. Sooner or later, I knew that our pretty strict routine of him driving me around would have

to be disturbed. It was a bit much for Reiner to take me everywhere and it was surely too much for him

to wait for me at the bar while I worked.

After a slightly long and very difficult conversation, I managed to convinced Reiner to stay back at the

office to finish his work and that I could head to the bar from the office by myself. That way, he didn’t

need to wait for me at the bar and he could pick me up when I was done working.
