Chapter 809

Estelle said, “Not bad, I’ve gotten used to life over there, and I’m getting along well with the landlady.”

Amiee nodded, “Emily is a nice and easy–going girl, she’ll have good luck!”

“True!”

Amiee picked up the tray, “Call me if you need anything!”

“Sure!“*

As Amiee turned to leave, she suddenly stopped, lowered her voice and said, “Yvonne has been

looking for Josiah a few times, and each time he comes back he looks upset. I think Yvonne has

said something to him against you. I’ll keep an eye on Josiah, but you need to be careful tool”

Estelle nodded, “Got it!”

Without saying anything else, Amiee left straight away.

Estelle sat in the dessert shop until half past ten, bought some desserts, and took a ride to Villa del Sol.

She had called Wilma in advance, so when she arrived, Wilma, Mr. Wagner and Max were all waiting f

or her on the cobblestone road

outside the villa.

Seeing Estelle, Max excitedly jumped around her

Estelle handed the pastries to Wilma and played with Max outside for a while.

After having lunch, Estellenovelbin

took Max for a walk on the mountain. She didn’t leave until three in the afternoon.

When she left Villa del Sol, Jason’s car was already parked outside on the mountain road.

Seeing her coming down the tree–

lined road, Jason got up to open the passenger door. Once she got into the car, Jason asked, “Why’d y

ou come back here? You were stuck here for three years, don’t tell me you miss those days?”

Estelle knew Jason didn’t like Jonathan and anything to do with him, so she just said, “Came to see Ma

x.”

*If you

like dogs, get another one,” Jason tumed the car around, looking at the road while speaking casually

i only like Max, not other dogs,” Estelle said.

Jason glanced at her and didn’t continue the topic.

They agreed to visit Jason’s father in the afternoon and spend the evening with him. On the way, Estell

e remembered to buy some cake for himu, so she asked Jason to make a detour to The Sugar Foxx

The Sugar Fix was particularly crowded today. After buying two boxes of cake

and some other pastries, a kid ran into her as she was leaving. As she stepped

aside, someone else bumped into her from the other side, causing the box of pastries in

her hand to fall to the ground.

The man who bumped into her picked up the pastries and apologized, “I’m sorry, did I damage them? I’l

l go inside and buy you a new box of pastries.

“It’s okay Estelle knew it wasn’t intentional.

The man, who was about thirty and dressed in a dark blue suit, didn’t want to miss this opportunity and

blocked Estelle’s path, “Let’s exchange contact information then. If the pastries are damaged, I’ll pay yo

u back!”

Jason got out of the car and stood in front of Estelle, his demeanor elegant but

aloof. He said coldly, “Back off, keep your distance from her

The man instinctively stepped back, looking a bit intimidated. His gut told him this guy wasn’t to be mes

sed with!

Jason had one hand holding the pastries and the other holding Estelle’s wrist as

they briskly walked away.

Not far away, Yvonne was standing in front of a flower shop wearing sunglasses and a mask. She saw

everything happening across the street. When she saw Jason

holding Estelle’s hand and walking away, she quickly took out her phone and snapped a picture.
