Chapter 619

Chapter 619

After saying that, she got up and walked out without looking back, only whispering, “I already paid, so

you can stay a as long as you want!”

Estelle got up and walked to the window, realizing it was raining outside. A café waiter was holding an

umbrella for Yvonne as she got in the car. With her face masked, her emotions were unreadable, and

she quickly drove away.

Four years ago?

That was when she was going to marry Jonathan. It turned out that he was planning to propose to

another woman back then.

Too bad he was rejected and met her instead.novelbin

Did he really marry her in spite of Yvonne?

Her phone suddenly rang. Estelle took a glance and answered the call.

Jonathan’s soft voice came through, “Are you off work? It’s raining. I’ll come pick you up.”

Estelle responded, “I’ll send you my location.”

“Are you not on set?”

“No, I’m out handling some things.”

“OK, send your location to me.”

When Jonathan arrived, he saw a girl holding an umbrella outside the café. The white coat on her was

the one he picked for her in the morning.

With one hand holding the umbrella and the other carrying her bag, the girl was stepping on puddles on

the ground.

She turned her head inadvertently, revealing her delicate face from under the black umbrella. Spotting

his car, she quickly walked back to the café, handed the umbrella to the waiter, and ran towards his car.

As the car stopped, Jonathan got out with an umbrella and walked fast, quickly shielding her as she sat

in the back.

Millard drove him, and Jonathan took a seat in the back with Estelle, holding her hand and asking, “Are

you cold?”

Estelle shook her head, “No.”

“Why didn’t you wait inside the café? Jonathan gently wiped the water droplets from her forehead with

a tissue.

The car started, rain pouring down and washing the windows, making the pedestrians and streets

outside blur.

Estelle leaned on Jonathan’s shoulder, watching the car window outside with half-closed eyes.

“Tired?” Jonathan pinched her face, “Why are you so quiet today?”

Estelle tilted her head slightly, her eyes as clear as if washed by the rain. “Jonathan, did you propose to

Ms. Yvonne?”

Jonathan was taken aback.

Estelle lowered her eyes, feeling a bit down. “So it’s true!”

“It was a long time ago!” Jonathan hugged her tightly, explaining in a low voice.

“Did you really like her back then?” Estelle asked in a calm tone, not accusatory, just curious.
