Chapter 615

Chapter 615

Josiah had a displeased look on his face, “I had a fight with my mom!”

Amiee’s eyes shifted, and she said coldly, “Did you drive here? Don’t you know you’ve been drinking?”

Josiah was taken aback and a bit touched, “Amiee, you’re the only one who cares about me!”

“Care about you? If you hit someone, they’ll be the innocent victim!” Amiee gave him a cold glance.

Josiah was speechless.

He bit his lip and stared at Amiee, “Amiee, I’m upset. Can you not scold me?”

Amiee snorted, “aren’t you feeling sorry for Yvonne? Then don’t come looking for comfort from me.”

Josiah pouted, “I know you and Estelle are close, but Yvonne really likes Jonah!”

“What’s the point of liking someone? Jonathan likes Estelle. If everyone’s crush has to be reciprocated,

then the world would be a mess!” Amiee said with an expressionless face.

Not every crush can be fulfilled. When you know your feelings are one-sided and the other person

already has someone they like, you should step back. Persisting is foolish and wrong!

However, Josiah still couldn’t accept it. He stubbornly believed Jonathan should be with Yvonne.

Feeling defeated, he stood up and walked out.

“Where are you going?” Amiee asked.

“To get more booze. I can at least get drunk, right?”

Josiah headed to the kitchen, leaving Amiee to make a phone call on the balcony.

The phone was quickly answered, and Amiee heard Mrs. James’ tearful voice, “Amiee?”

Amiee replied, “Mrs. James, Josiah is with me!”

Mrs. James immediately breathed a sigh of relief. She regretted fighting with Josiah and worried about

him driving drunk. Amiee’s call reassured

her.

“Just keep an eye on him, don’t let him drive around! Mrs. James hurriedly said.

“Alright, don’t worry!”novelbin

“Thank you, Amiee!” Mrs. James expressed her heartfelt gratitude.

“You’re welcome!”

Amiee hung up and returned to the living room, where Josiah was standing with a few cans of beer. He

asked her, “Who were you talking to?”

Amiee didn’t change her expression, “Your mom!”

Josiah paused, lowered his gaze, and said nothing. He knew he was wrong today, he shouldn’t have

said those things to his mom, and he was already regretting it.

He placed the beer cans on the table, opened one, and handed it to Amiee, “Drink with me!”

Amiee didn’t stand on ceremony, taking it and gulping down a large mouthful.

The ice-cold beer cooled her throat and stomach as it went down.

The two drank without speaking, one gulp after another. Amiee turned on the TV, turned off the lights,

and leaned on the couch to watch a movie. It was a TV drama that Josiah found quite interesting. He

also sat next to Amiee, watching and drinking.

Ten minutes later, there were several empty beer cans in front of them. On the TV, the blonde

protagonists were passionately kissing in bed.

Josiah glanced at Amiee, smirking meaningfully. “Do you always watch these kinds of shows when

you’re at home?”

In the dim light, Amiee glanced at him without saying a word.

The whole show had many great plots, but some people only focused on the erotic bits.

Seeing her ignoring him, Josiah leaned in, his arm resting on the couch, “Have you ever kissed

someone before?”
