Estelle sat on the playground for a while before finally biking home when it was getting dark
When she got home, Old Wade had already started turning on the lights.
Her grandpa was waiting for her to have dinner, and there were all her favorite dishes on the table
Neither she nor her brother had parents, and their grandpa wasn’t as attentive to them as parents
would be. He was even more indulgent about their growth, but he would always remember their likes

After dinner, Estelle sat with Old Mr. Jarvis in the yard for a while before going back to her room to
sleep at around nine o’clock
She checked her phone, and there was no message from Jonathan.
She found it a bit strange since, in the past two days she had been back, Jonathan would contact her
every couple of hours. But since their video call in the afternoon, he hadn’t reached out to her at all.
Maybe he was hanging out with Charlie and the others. Estelle didn’t think much of it, took a shower,
and went to bed.

Jonathan said, “Are you asleep? Where’s your house? Send me the location.”
Estelle was startled and immediately came to her senses, “Where are you?”

She hung up the phone, changed her clothes, and went outside.
In the yard, she ran into Old Mr. Jarvis, who stopped.
Old Mr. Jarvis turned around and asked, “Where are you going in the middle of the night?”
Estelle said, “Grandpa, Jonathan’s here.”
Old Mr. Jarvis was a bit surprised but quickly understood, smiling, aren’t you planning on bringing him
to see me?”
Estelle widened her eyes, “Grandpa.”
Old Mr. Jarvis shook his head with a smile, waved his hand, “Alright, go. Let Tanner drive you, I won’t
wait up for you tonight. Juss remember to bring me breakfast when you come back tomorrow morning”
Estelle smiled, “Okay!”
“Go on””
“Grandpa, good night!”
Estelle stepped out of the house, but Old Mr. Jarvis clearly saw the eagerness in the young girl’s
steps.
Old Wade came over and asked, “Miss won’t be coming home tonight?”
Old Mr. Jarvis snorted lightly, but his face showed a kind smile, “Young people’s love is as passionate
as fire!”
Estelle went out, and the driver Tanner was already waiting outside with the car. She got in and they
drove towards the city.
Once in the city, Estelle didn’t let Tanner drive her further. Instead, she got out and took a taxi to meet
Jonathan.
At the highway exit, Estelle got out of the car and saw a Mercedes Maybach drive over, stopping in the
parking area.
The man got out of the car, saw Estelle, and walked towards her with big strides. He was wearing a
black trench coat, tall and handsome.
Estelle went to meet him, and he opened his arms, hugging her tightly
Jonathan wrapped his trench coat around Estelle, kissing her and whispering. “I missed you so much, I
just couldn’t wait any longer.”
Even though they had just parted the previous morning, and it had only been a day and a night without
seeing each other, it felt like ages.
When they video called, he just wanted to appear in front of her without waiting another second!
The weather in J City was bad, and planes couldn’t take off, so he decided to drive there.
Over four hours, every minute, all he could think about was what she would look like when she saw
him!
