Carmella chuckled, then suddenly added, “I’ll do my best to look after our parents on your behalf!
Estelle knew what she meant if she didn’t mention their relationship to anyone, then Carmella would re
main the Macclain family’s only daughter, and she would take care of their parents in Estelle’s stead, re
placing all of her roles in their lives
