asked Carson to watch her cards for her.

eye on his cards while he took the call.
The call was from Yvonne’s mother, who had decided to go through with the divorce

Yvonne cried and said she would try to persuade her father. They were crying sadly on the phone.
Yvonne had just hung up when she heard someone coming. Not wanting anyone to see her tear–

curtains.
