me.”

In the hallway, she heard someone coming downstairs from the stairs on the third floor. It was Yvonne

Jonathan asked, “Doesn’t he know you’re back?”

phone in hand and said to Estelle, “You are done? I want to have a few more words for you. I’ll go
upstairs to make a call, and please wait for me in the living room.”

Jonathan frowned subconsciously and said softly, “Take the ice cream away.”
Yvonne looked up in surprise, her eyes filled with a hint of joy, “How did you know I couldn’t eat cold
stuff these days?”
After she finished speaking, she turned to the maid and said, “I can’t eat it, but it can be for Ms.
Macclain. Don’t take it away!”
