Chapter 325

The man scrutinized Estelle’s face for a moment before nodding. “Go ahead and proceed.” novelbin

Estelle followed Addison, balancing a tray in her hands. As they reached a less crowded area, Addison

began to speak. “You will be responsible for the guests in this room and refer to them as Mr. Greco.

There are a few things to keep in mind. Mr. Greco always arrives with a regular female companion, and

you should refrain from introducing people to him casually. When he orders wine, open it in his

presence, and only enter the room when he requires your assistance.”

Estelle acknowledged, “Understood.”

Addison smiled reassuringly. “Good. Your main focus will be taking care of room 6616. You don’t need

to worry about anything else. Mamie asked me to look out for you. If you encounter any issues, don’t

hesitate to let me know.”

Estelle smiled gratefully. “Thank you, Addison.”

Two days later, Jonathan arrived at Midnight Bar. Mamie went to greet him. “Estelle is currently on the

sixth floor, covering for Sienna. I’ll contact her right away.”

Jonathan lit a cigarette, his expression indifferent. “No need, I’m just here to deliver a bottle of wine.

Anyone can take care of it.”

Mamie’s expression shifted slightly, and she glanced at Charlie, puzzled.

Charlie laughed, “Since Estelle is busy, let’s have someone else do it.”

“Yes!” Mamie agreed, and then asked Amy to take care of room 8809.

When they were finally alone, Charlie asked, “What’s going on? What did Estelle do that made you so

upset?”

Jonathan took a puff and said, “Don’t mention her in front of me again!”

Charlie frowned, “Did you break up?”

Jonathan sneered, “We were never a couple.”

Charlie scoffed, “Fine, she’s just a woman. If you don’t like her, just break it off. No big deal. But can

you stop looking so gloomy, as if you’ve really broken up?”

Jonathan took a deep drag, saying calmly, “It has nothing to do with her.”

Charlie said, “Then can you tell me what Estelle did to you?”

Jonathan gazed at Charlie with a stern expression. “You summoned me here just to inquire about her?

I don’t have time for such nonsense. I must be on my way.”

He extinguished his cigarette and prepared to leave when Charlie hastily reached out, attempting to

stop him. “I made a mistake. I won’t ask any more questions.”

Just then, Amy entered the room, carrying the wine and placing it on the coffee table. She asked softly,

“Mr. Lamont, would you like me to uncork the bottle?”

Jonathan lit another cigarette and responded with a single affirmative word.

Amy proceeded to open the wine and noticed the deck of cards on the table. She playfully smiled

and remarked, “Mr. James, care for a game of poker?”

Charlie leaned against the sofa, joking, “Are Midnight Bar’s waiters doubling as public relations

Amy’s face paled, and she let out an awkward laugh. “Mr. James was just joking. I noticed that Estelle

usually assists you with poker, but since she’s not here today, I thought I’d offer.”

Charlie’s smile dimmed slightly. “Leave, I’ll call for you if needed.”

“Alright!” Amy left without daring to say anything further.

Charlie then invited Jonathan to play mahjong. Strangely, Jonathan continued to lose several rounds in

a row, appearing somewhat distracted.

Charlie glanced at him, then said to Andrew, “Do you know the manager on the sixth floor?”

Andrew looked up, “You mean Addison? Yeah, I used to go up there a lot. We’re pretty familiar with

each other.”

“Estelle is on the sixth floor. Can you go and tell Addison to take extra care of her? If there are any

unpleasant guests, let him protect Estelle. If anything happens, I’ll take responsibility,” Charlie

explained slowly.

Andrew glanced at Jonathan, then quickly stood up and said, “Alright, I’ll go right now!”
