After hanging up the phone, Estelle stretched lazily, got out of bed, and headed to the restaurant for br
eakfast.
There were two servings breakfasts on the table, one
ordered by Jonathan in advance and the other was brought by Emily later. Each portion was huge, eno
ugh for Estelle to eat for the rest of the day.
After eating, Estelle called Norah and asked her to go shopping. Norah readily agreed with excitement i
n her voice, apparently bored to death at
home.
Norah offered to have her driver pick up Estelle, but Estelle turned down the offer and agreed to meet h

Having arranged to go shopping with Norah, Estelle changed into another outfit and was about to head
out. As she was leaving, she saw the black card left by Jonathan, thought it over, and tucked it into a dr
awer.
After taking two subway rides, Estelle arrived at the mall, where Norah was sitting at a nearby café sipp
ing a cold drink. When the two met, Norah’s face lit up with excitement, “Estelle, I’ve missed you so mu
ch!”
Estelle laughed, “I’ve missed you too! How’s Henson?”
“He’s at
an international summer camp in Switzerland, should be back soon! I’m bored to death staying home al
one!” Norah handed Estelle a cup of iced mocha, “I ordered this for you!”
Estelle took a sip with a big smile, feeling refreshed!
Norah sipped her drink and laughed, “I actually wanted to go play tennis today, but my private coach ca
lled to reschedule. Then, coincidentally, you called!”
Estelle felt it couldn’t be that coincidental.
Was it Jonathan?
She sipped her iced mocha and smiled faintly.
Norah was complaining about how boring summer vacation was, “I should find something to do too.”
Estelle raised her head, pretending to be casual, “Why not go on a date with Nicolas?”
Giggling, Norah rested her head on her hands, “He’s already found a job, his company values him a lot,
and he’s very busy lately, so I won’t disturb
him.”
When it came to Nicolas, Norah’s face was filled with tenderness and pride.
Estelle looked down at the LV bag next to Norah’s seat, “Did Nicolas buy this for you?”
Norah nodded carelessly, “Yeah, he bought it for me. I didn’t even know it was fake until he gave it to m
e. He felt so bad, said he would work hard and buy me a real one.”
Estelle didn’t know how much Norah must love Nicolas to be wearing a custom–
made dress while carrying a fake LV bag.
Thinking about the scene she saw last night, Estelle felt a bit stuffy and didn’t know how to warn Norah.
The two went shopping and then played games in the arcade. Norah was in high spirits the whole time,
wearing a carefree smile. Estelle didn’t know how to approach the topic.
It wasn’t until the afternoon that Norah received a phone call from Nicolas. She went to a secluded plac
e to talk for about half an hour before returning to Estelle.
Excited, Norah said, “Nicolas said he gets off work early today and invited me for dinner tonight.”
Estelle raised her eyebrows, “Really?”
“Why don’t you join us tonight?” Norah suggested.
Normally, Estelle wouldn’t have gone, but today she smiled and asked, “Won’t I be bothering you guys?”
“No
way!” Norah laughed innocently, “It’s just dinner, besides I can’t stay out too late, or my mom wouldn’t a
pprove.”
“Then I’ll join you for a free meal!” Estelle chuckled.
