Chapter 2115

Evelyn couldn't help but marvel at each piece she tried on, but they all paled in comparison whenshe laid her eyes on a necklace adorned with pearls and pink diamonds.

The string of pearls led to a pendant encrusted with seven large pink diamonds—a piece thatexuded both elegance and luxury.

The matching earrings featured the same pearls and pink diamonds.

"This one's stunning; I love it," Evelyn exclaimed, captivated by the set.

The sales associate replied apologetically, "I'm sorry, miss, but this is our store's crown jewel. Itrequires an advanced reservation by high-tier VIP clients and isn't available for casual try-ons."

Evelyn turned to Estelle with a look of disappointment. "It's a shame; it's really gorgeous."

Estelle addressed the salesperson, "Let her try it on."novelbin

The salesperson didn't recognize Estelle. "I'm truly sorry, but we have a policy. Perhaps I couldshow you something similar?"

Evelyn's gaze remained fixed on the necklace, clearly smitten.

"Is Harriet around?" Estelle inquired.

The salesperson was taken aback. "You know my director?"

"Yes, could you ask her to come here?"

Not daring to delay, the salesperson hurried off to find the manager. When the manager arrived, shelooked at Estelle with a flicker of recognition. "May I know who you are?"

"A friend of Harriet's," Estelle replied.

Nodding, the manager rang Harriet, who happened to be in the store that day. Descending thestairs, Harriet approached Estelle with delight. "What brings you here today?"

"Just picking out some jewelry with a friend," said Estelle.

Harriet greeted Evelyn with a smile. "Which piece do you like? Let's get it on you for a try."

When the salesperson mentioned Evelyn's interest in the Sea·Sakura set, Harriet didn't hesitate."Bring it out."

With the director's command, the manager personally retrieved the necklace and placed it aroundEvelyn's neck.

As Evelyn admired herself in the mirror, Harriet whispered to Estelle, "What kind of friend is she?"

"It's a long story," Estelle whispered back, "I'll fill you in later."

Harriet nodded, then sincerely remarked as she observed Evelyn, "The set is almost too grand forher."

"We'll go with what she likes," Estelle decided.

Evelyn eventually chose the set, and Harriet instructed her staff to prepare it for her.

The manager hesitated, "Ms. Harriet, this piece was designed by KING and took a year to craft. It'susually reserved for our highest-tier VIPs."

With a calm smile, Harriet replied, "If KING herself has no objections, what's there to doubt?"

The staff, upon realizing who Estelle was, were stunned. That's why she looked familiar—they hadseen her in a video. But KING had been partially obscured by the president of the Lamont Group inthat video, and they hadn't been able to see her face clearly. Moreover, they were shocked to learnthat KING was the mastermind behind GK.

The manager and salesperson immediately became more respectful. "We had no idea you'd bevisiting in person, please excuse any oversight on our part."

"No, you've done well," said Estelle with a smile. "Please, package the necklace for my friend."

"Right away." The manager, no longer objecting, hurried to package the necklace.

Evelyn, standing beside Estelle, whispered in awe, "So this place is yours, Estelle? You'reamazing."

Back at the airport, everything had been a blur, and she hadn't quite understood what was going onaround her. Now, discovering Estelle was the owner of the jewelry store—and so much more—wasastonishing.

In fact, Evelyn realized that ever since she became the granddaughter of Old Mr. Quintin, thepeople she encountered were one surprise after another.
