Chapter 1869

Estelle glared at him, "Mr. Lamont, you need to understand that the choice is mine to make."

Jonathan's brow creased slightly, "Ella, it's time for you to head home. We've only had two days

together and now we're facing a goodbye."

His tone was steady, yet the deep abyss of his eyes always seemed to convey a trace of melancholy,

and his mention of parting struck a chord in Estelle's heart.

She took a deep breath and pulled out the lingerie, "Just once!"

Jonathan lifted the garment curiously, "Isn't it a one-time thing? You planned to wear it more than

once?"

Estelle was speechless.

She shouldn't have said that.

As he held the lingerie, Jonathan's gaze grew intense, and he scooped Estelle into his arms, "Don't

worry, you won't have to lift a finger. I'm more than happy to help you out!"

Estelle flipped over, wrapping her legs around his waist and suddenly asking, "Do they make these fornovelbin

men too?"

Just out of curiosity!

Jonathan immediately denied, "Nope!"

"Maybe I'll ask Magdalen some other day, mmmh."

Estelle's question was silenced by his lips, which also smothered all her curiosity back .

Tonight, Mr. Lamont's sweet nothings were exceptionally tender, seemingly to comfort and soothe

Estelle. Of course, the ferocity hidden beneath the gentleness was still enough to send shivers down

her spine.

When Estelle was gently laid on the bed, Jonathan leaned down and seized the moment while her

consciousness was hazy to ask in a husky whisper, "Ever had feelings for Manley?"

"Hmm?" Estelle's eyes were slightly unfocused.

"In those two years abroad, did you ever feel something for him?" Jonathan's gaze was intense, with a

stormy undercurrent swirling in his eyes.

Estelle's trembling hand cradled his face and her eyes was shimmering with tears as she shook her

head, "No, I had you in my heart. How could I fall for someone else?"

"But back then, I made you sad."

"Yes, you hurt me so much, but I still loved you!"

Jonathan gazed down at her, "Ella, are you drunk?"

She was utterly irresistible today.

Estelle chuckled and pressed a kiss to his lips.

Jonathan immediately enveloped her in his embrace, one hand supporting her waist, the other

caressing her dark hair. The silky strands slipped through his fingers like the rising tide of emotion in his

heart.

He loved her so much!

So much that he couldn't bear the thought of sharing even a bit of her with anyone else.

The next morning, the day was already bright when Estelle was roused by the ringing of her phone.

Jonathan picked up the phone, glanced at it, slid it open, and held it to Estelle's ear.

"Hello?" Estelle asked, with her eyes still closed.

"Ella, time to get up!" Magdalen's crisp and cheerful voice shattered the morning calm.

Estelle's lips curved into a faint smile, "You're up early today. That's not very Morrison-like of you."

"Early?" Magdalen sounded puzzled, "It's already ten in the morning!"

Estelle opened her eyes in shock, greeted by the sight of Jonathan lying beside her, holding his phone

in one hand while resting his forehead on another hand; his robe hanged open to reveal his broad

shoulders and a collarbone marked by intimate redness... The morning sunlight poured into his dark

pupils, reflecting a lustrous glow.

Elegance and sensuality blended to perfection!

The phone pressed to Estelle's ear seemed to carry the warmth of his palm, making her freshly

awakened expression appear somewhat dazed.

Magdalen asked with a laugh, "Did you like the gift from yesterday? Actually, I should be asking

Jonathan if he liked it?"

Before Estelle could respond, Jonathan blurted with his eyebrow raising and his lips parting slightly,

"Tell her, I loved it!"
