Chapter 1845

Jonathan's eyes flickered with a somber light as he stared silently at Estelle.

In a corner, the Macclain family also had their gaze fixed on her. Elizabeth was still fuming over the fact

that Estelle had snubbed her earlier, failing to offer a greeting.

Natalia's voice was teasing, thinly veiled with sarcasm, "Well, well, our Estelle is a bridesmaid, isn't

she?"

Sabina maintained her icy demeanor, commenting coolly, "Estelle does have some tricks up her sleeve,

mingling with the high society crowd!"

Leonie let out a mocking laugh, "I heard that the Sampson family's daughter's wedding dress was

designed by KING herself. Maybe Estelle was personally invited by Ms. Sampson!"

The others had varied expressions, pretending not to hear Leonie's comment, and shifted their

attention, waiting for the bride and groom to make their appearance.

Ever since Jonathan had shown up, Estelle was distracted, her eyes constantly darting to the guestnovelbin

seats.

Manley moved closer, a teasing smile on his lips, "Pay attention, my dear bridesmaid!"

Estelle gave him a glance, "Once this wedding is over, make yourself scarce!"

"Why the rush? Worried Jonathan will take a shot at me? To have your concern, I'd die a happy man

even if it's by Jonathan's hand!"

If it weren't for the room full of guests, Estelle would have loved to kick Manley right into the crystal

chandelier!

As they spoke, Manley took Estelle's hand and led her to the wedding stage, even going so far as to

twirl her around. As he drew her close, he narrowed his eyes seductively, whispering with an alluring

smile, "Darling, I will always love you."

Estelle was taken aback. In her confusion, she turned and walked away as Manley, ever the

gentleman, released her hand with a smile and stepped aside.

The bridesmaids and groomsmen stood to each side, and as the romantic wedding march began,

Morrison descended the castle's spiral staircase in a sharp black suit.

On the opposite side, the grand doors of the hall slowly opened, and under the dazzling light, Magdalen

walked in, guided by Mr. Sampson.

She was radiant in a white wedding dress, a crown set with 11 large diamonds on her head, her beauty

breathtaking, silencing the entire hall.

Kya and another flower girl held the train of her dress, looking as though they had stepped right out of a

fairy tale.

Mrs. James, sitting next to Catherine, widened her eyes in surprise, searching for Charlie. Kya was a

flower girl, and he hadn't told her!

With too many people to find him, Catherine excitedly grabbed Catherine's hand, "That's my

granddaughter, the one with the pink tiara—my Kya!"

Catherine was astonished, "Charlie got married?"

"No, he himself doesn't know how he ended up with a child!" Mrs. James laughed, "But that's not

important now. Kya is our granddaughter, smart and adorable, just like Charlie when he was little."

Catherine admired the sight, "She is beautiful."

"Isn't she?" Mrs. James beamed, "Such a character, speaks like a little adult, understands everything,

so endearing."

Mrs. James couldn't stop talking about Kya.

The more Catherine watched, the more she liked her. Norah and Henson were all grown up, and she

had almost forgotten what they looked like as children.

And with Jonathan about the same age as Charlie, she thought Charlie didn't have a girlfriend, while

her own son was at least officially engaged. It hadn't crossed her mind that Charlie would already have

a child!

Seeing Mrs. James so happy, Catherine felt anxious. She decided to urge Jonathan to hasten the

wedding plans upon returning home, to start a family with Estelle so she, too, could dote on a

granddaughter.
