Chapter 1731

Chapter 1731

Estelle flashed a smile, “In that case, let me congratulate you in advance!"

Magdalen's eyes sparkled as she wrapped her arm around Estelle's shoulder, “Why don't you and

Jonathan get married on the same day as us? The thought of both of us getting married on the same

day is so thrilling!"

Estelle paused for a moment before replying with a light chuckle, "No. Let's make that day entirely

belong to you and Morrisont"

Magdalen understood Estelle’s feelings and didn't push further, “Well, when it's your turn to get

married, I'll be there as your maid of honor!"

Estelle's eyes were clear and bright, “Alright!"

Magdalen and Morrison's reconciliation had brought life back into her eyes, and she appeared as

vibrant as ever.

Knowing they would want some time alone after their reconciliation, Estelle decided to leave after

dinner.

Without saying goodbye, she headed straight to Villa del Sol.

The car that the Sampson family had given her was parked outside the villa. After thanking the driver,

she turned and walked into the yard.

As she took a few steps inside, she spotted a man sitting on a bench. He was dressed in a casual light-novelbin

colored attire, his legs crossed, and he was gently patting Max's head.

Estelle remembered that when she first met Jonathan, he had exuded an aura of distance and

aloofness. But now, his cold demeanor had softened, replaced by an air of refinement and elegance.

She hadn't informed him of her visit, but he was already waiting for her. There was an indescribable

sense of happiness bubbling up from her heart.

Estelle smiled and headed towards her light.

Chad's assistant visited Emily every day, trying to subtly assess how her design work was progressing.

Emily was open and willingly to show him her designs and explained her design concepts, which

eventually made the assistant quite overwhelmed and run way.

A week had swiftly passed, and it was now Friday afternoon. Charlie had a meeting during lunch and

by the time they finished, it was almost three o'clock.

Back at the thirty-ninth floor, Gavin came over to report on work. He expressed his concern, "Why did

you have so much to drink?"

Charlie leaned back in his chair, rubbing his forehead, his voice husky, ‘I ran into an old friend who had

just returned from abroad, and we had a couple of extra drinks. I'm fine!"

Gavin nodded and went on to report the work, and he casually mentioned, "Paragon Pixel Design

called to say that the initial draft of the design is ready. They asked if we wanted it delivered here, but I

told them I'd go to their office this afternoon. If you need anything, give me a call."

Charlie looked up, "The design is ready?"

"Yeah, Emily is quite efficient at her work. I bet she won't be resting over the weekend.” Gavin

chuckled.

Charlie nodded slightly, casually saying as he went through some documents, “I have nothing going on

this afternoon, so I'll go with you."

"Does Mr. James have nothing going on this afternoon? Wasn't he supposed to meet with people from

InnovateHub Inc. to discuss a project?" Gavin asked in a serious tone.

Charlie's finger, flipping through the documents, paused, and he cast a look with a three-part blend of

intoxication, chill and seriousness.

Gavin's eyes held a hint of mockery, and he quickly said, "Oh, yes! The weather's bad today, and I'm

sure that the people from InnovateHub Inc. won't come. Mr. James has to see the design drafts, and I

can't make decisions on my own. Besides, I miss Emily too!"

“Quit the nonsense and get going!” Charlie jokingly scolded.

Gavin smiled at the slightly flustered man, then turned and left with a smile.

At Paragon Pixel Design's office.

Knowing that Charlie was coming, Ron had the conference room prepared early. He had also arranged

for Chad and Emily to be summoned.

Emily had been in Cedric’s office discussing the draft plans for Mr. Beck's villa garden. When she heard

that someone from the James family had arrived, Cedric nodded at Emily, "Have you prepared your

design draft?"

Emily nodded, "I have some ideas for now. I'll make further designs after the James family’s

representatives confirm the direction."

“Alright, 'll go with you."

Cedric stood up and headed to the conference room with Emily.
