Jonathan raised an eyebrow, “Do you suspect that he set you up all those years ago to get you out of

“No!” Estelle was adamant. Her brother wouldn’t do that. He wouldn’t know their mission was

Jonathan tightened his grip on her hand, “It’s been so many years, stop dwelling on it!”
Estelle nodded gently and continued walking forward. Jonathan was right. It had been a long time and

She needed to focus on how to bring her brother home.
The next day, Estelle and her group spent another day in City C.

Once everyone got in the car and they drove off, Estelle looked back to see Jarvis still standing at the
door. She laughed, “Kya is the popular one, my grandpa never sees me off when I leave.”
Emily laughed, “Mr. Jarvis is so nice, we’ll definitely come back.”
Estelle quirked an eyebrow, “Next time if I come back alone without Kya, I bet my grandpa will kick me
out!”
Laughter filled the car.
Back in City J, Estelle returned to work on the set the next day, while Emily began interviewing for new
jobs.
That night, Emily cooked a feast and told Estelle that she had successfully landed a job as a mid-level
designer.
Estelle was happy for Emily. She was a graduate from a prestigious university and was very capable.
Finding a job was a piece of cake for her! After dinner, Estelle and Emily kicked back with a few cans of
beer on the balcony. Emily was full of hope for the future, “Estelle, I’m going to work hard. I aim to
become a senior designer within a year! And I hope my dad can turn over a new leaf. When he gets
old, I’ll buy a big house with a yard for him to retire. I’ll take care of Kya.”
Estelle took a swig of her beer, her eyes clear, “Your dreams will come true!”

and strive to become stronger
Emily used to be anxious, but she later realized that it was because she felt powerless. A lot of things
were beyond her control.

only made her sad, and she backed out of her relationship with Charlie due to her insecurities.
But if these things happened to Estelle, she wouldn’t handle them the way Emily did.
Even without the support of the Jarvis family, Estelle would still fall in love with Jonathan and bravely
