Xavier, holding the quarter pie left in his hand, his face turned pale, “Norah.”
“Just kidding” Norah burst into laughter, “I ate it, actually!”
Xavier looked at her suspiciously, then at the cat who was wagging its tail beside them
“Don’t believe me?” Norah raised an eyebrow, “Then I’ll show you!”
She reached up, took hold of Xavier’s wrist, and in one swift movement, took a bite of the pie in his
hand.
Her soft lips brushed against his fingers. Xavier felt his heart race, his body stiffening.
Norah, whose cheeks stuffed with pie, looked adorable, “Now, do you believe me?”
Her innocent demeanor made it seem as if she had no idea how provocative her recent action might be
