Chapter 162

Chapter 162

Someone turned off the lights on this side, darkness isolated the hustle and bustle of the people

around, leaving only the two of them panting, gasping quietly, and breathing hastily.

After a while, someone at the entertainment area won a card game and excitedly shouted.

Estelle was startled and abruptly stopped. Her face flushed, and she lowered her head to cover it up.

Jonathan held her waist, waiting for the urge within him to subside before deepening his voice, “Would

you agree to such requests from other guests too?”

Estelle frowned, her voice hoarse with annoyance, “I’m not a prostitute.”

“What are you doing here then?” Anger laced the man’s voice, “Do you really think being a waitress

can keep you safe? Ask the girls you work with what kind of relationships they have with the clients in

the private rooms they’re in charge of!”

Estelle had already figured it out these past two days. For example, Melody and Garrison werenovelbin

involved in a murky relationship. Although those girls weren’t prostitutes, but they would earn some

extra money when dealing with generous customers.

She blinked, calming down, “I will protect myself!”

Jonathan lifted his hand to pinch her chin, “Do you think you can protect yourself just because you are

good at fighting? How much do you know about the dirty tricks people use in a place like this?”

In the dim light, Estelle’s crystal–clear eyes were calm and composed. She slowly said, “I’ll be careful.”

Jonathan took a deep breath, speaking softly, “Quit your job here and tutor Henson. I’ll pay you triple

the salary.”

Estelle couldn’t help but laugh, “Making Henson take lessons over summer break? He’ll hate you!”

“You can hang out with him then. He’s always wanted to learn to shoot, you can teach him!”

Estelle softened her voice, “I’ll only work in here for the summer break, and then I’ll quit.”

“No, quit now!” The man’s tone brooked no discussion.

Estelle got annoyed seeing the man’s overbearing attitude, “Why should I listen to you? We’re over, we

have no relationship anymore!”

Jonathan narrowed his eyes, “Who told you it’s over? Did I agree? Agreements are mutual, if I didn’t

agree, then it doesn’t count!”

Estelle glared at him angrily, but the man just chuckled and lowered his head to kiss her.

Estelle dodged his kiss, her tone becoming softer, “Jonathan, I’m not your pet. We decided that we

need each other, and that’s an equal relationship.”

Jonathan’s eyes narrowed slightly, his hand gripping her chin tightened, his voice low, “You said we

need each other, but do you need me?”

Estelle frowned, not understanding.

“Answer me, do you need me?” The man gazed at her unblinkingly, speaking slowly, “I’m always the

one to come to you, you’ve never taken the initiative to meet me. If you need me, even if I’m on the

edge of the world, I’ll fly back to your bed immediately!”

Estelle stared blankly, her face flushing, she couldn’t tell if she was more embarrassed or angry.

The man lowered his head slowly, his eyes becoming gentle, his voice soft, “Can we stop fighting?

Let’s make up.”

The man’s cold lips landed on hers, kissing her deeply.

Estelle slowly closed her eyes.

The distance and indifference between them during this time vanished with this passionate kiss.

Unlike before, the man’s kiss was intense. Estelle soon noticed his intention and began to struggle.

There were still other people in the private room, even if they couldn’t clearly see, the two of them were

under the watchful eyes

others.

Jonathan stopped, his breathing unsteady, his eyes dark as he looked at her, his voice husky, “Do you

miss me?”

She looked into his eyes, her lips sealed.

Jonathan couldn’t stand her gaze, his entire body tensing up. He hugged her waist tighter, whispering,

“shall we go home?”

of

Estelle frowned, “I’m still at work.”
