Emily felt uneasy throughout the afternoon because of Gavin’s words. But when she went to deliver
some documents for Charlie to sign, he maintained a composed expression and didn’t say anything.

bidding details to them. Looking at these photos, Emily’s mind was in chaos, unable to think clearly.
Mr. Matz snatched the phone back from Emily, demanded furiously, “Ms. Sullivan, do you have any
explanation for this?”
