Chapter 1605

Chapter 1605

The woman looked at Kya with a knowing smile. This little girl is so pretty. Where’s her dad?”

Ms. Simmons smiled faintly. “I don’t know. I’m only responsible for looking after the child. I don’t inquiry

about the family’s affairs.”

The woman laughed, “Well, that’s fine. I get to go now.”

“Okay”

Ms. Simmons watched as the woman got into a car parked nearby and left. She then picked up her

bags and carried Kya back to the apartment.

After the woman had entered the car, she asked the person in the back seat, “Did you capture

everything?”

The person in the back seat immediately replied, “Yeah, I got everything!”

The woman nodded and dialed a number on her phone. Once the call connected, she hurriedly said,

“Boss, the task is completed!”

The person on the other end appeared pleased and instructed her to return promptly.

“Boss,” the woman hesitated for a moment and asked, “Is your information reliable? I mean, Emily has

a child, and will Charlie be interested in a woman who has a

child?”

Her boss scoffed, “Who knows? What if he’s changed his preferences? The next time you go see them,

don’t forget to take some photos.”

“Just count on me, boss!”

The woman hung up the phone and drove away.

On Saturday afternoon, after Estelle finished tutoring Henson Lamont, she and Jonathan returned to

Villa del Sol.

Wilma had made a molten cheesecake. The sweet aroma wafted through the air, and Estelle couldn’t

resist. She left Jonathan and dashed back to the villa for a slice of cake.

Estelle’s sweet tooth had rubbed off on Max, and when Max heard that there was cheesecake, she ran

even faster.

Milo stayed put, obediently lying at Jonathan’s feet.

Jonathan leaned back in a porch swing, watching Estelle’s lively figure disappear into the villa. A soft

smile played on his lips.

Estelle’s phone, which was left on her chair, suddenly vibrated. Jonathan picked it up, it was a video

call from Old Mr Jarvis.

Jonathan slid to answer it with a warm smile, “Hello, Grandpat

Old Mr. Jarvis was sitting in his garden, wearing a grey linen shirt, and a straw hat. He was pruning his

flowers. When he heard Jonathan answering, he chuckled, “Where’s Estelle?”

“She’s inside having cake.” Jonathan’s eyes filled with a hint of affection when he mentioned Estelle

“How have you been lately?”

“Fit as a fiddle! No problems at all!” Old Mr. Jarvis replied in a energetical voice.

“That’s great to hear!”

“I was just calling to ask if she’ll be home for Thanksgiving?” Old Mr. Jarvis said while clipping off an

unruly branch from an old pine tree. “If she’s coming back, I’ll have the kitchen make some cakes with

osmanthus filling if she’s not coming back, I won’t bother, so they won’t go to waste.”

Leaning back in the porch swing. Jonathan noticed that Old Mr. Jarvis missed Estelle. He laughed

softly, “we’ll both go back for the festival.”

“Alright then!” Old Mr. Jarvis replied and looked up. “And don’t bring a ton of supplements like last time.

I can’t eat it all. I had the kitchen make soup with them for the flowers”

Jonathan’s lips curved into a smile, “Your flowers seem to be thriving with the supplement soup. If

you’re happy, Ella is happy. So if you’re happy, my purpose in sending those supplements is

achieved.” novelbin

Old Mr. Jarvis laughed, “Has Estelle put a love potion in your drink? You’re so cheerful”

Jonathan’s smile deepened, “I honestly don’t know, but you can ask her when we get back.”

“Great” Old Mr Jarvis exclaimed, and he couldn’t help but let out a hearty laugh.
