Chapter 1583

Chapter 1583

After taking a shower, Estelle was reading a book on the balcony couch when she heard someone

come in. Jonathan was unbuttoning his shirt as he walked towards Estelle.

He stood before her, took the book from her hands, then lifted her chin for a kiss. The strong smell of

alcohol filled Estelle’s mouth, causing her to close her eyes and lean back involuntarily. Jonathan knelt

on the couch, kissing her passionately and gently.

Estelle felt something was off, so she reached out to his shoulders, whispering, “Jonathan.”

“Hmm?” Jonathan responded, kissing the corner of her mouth.

Estelle said, “Emily and Charlie broke up.”

“I know.” Jonathan leaned against her forehead, his voice low. “Seeing Charlie’s state, I can’t help but

think of when you rejected me. It drove me nuts.” Estelle’s eyes were hazy like the moonlight, “Will

Emily and Charlie get back together?”

Jonathan frowned slightly. Sitting on the couch and holding Estelle in his arms, he asked, “What’s up

with Emily?”

Estelle stayed silent for a while, then told Jonathan about Emily’s father.

Jonathan said in a deep voice, “Emily’s family is indeed a problem. Charlie’s mother never liked him

dating girls from ordinary families. If they stay together, they’ll face a lot of problems.” novelbin

Estelle leaned her head on his chest, nodding slowly, “Yes, Emily anticipated this, so she decided to

break up with Charlie. Charlie is innocent, and he’s the most hurt now.”

Jonathan frowned, “Is it right for us to keep this from him?”

Estelle said, “If we don’t keep it, will Charlie let go of Emily? I fear Emily will end up getting hurt, we

should respect Emily’s choice.”

“Since you asked me not to tell, I didn’t say a word.”

Jonathan caressed her face, comforting her, “There’s always a solution to everything. If Charlie truly

loves Emily, he will find a way: If they still break up in the end, their love wasn’t deep enough.”

Estelle’s eyes were filled with worry, “I’m afraid that even the deepest love can’t withstand too much

friction.”

“No,” Jonathan looked at her deeply, “Just like my feelings for you, no matter how many twists and

turns we’ve been through, my love for you hasn’t lessened.”

Estelle didn’t expect his confession. Her heart softened, her lips slightly pursed, and her eyes

deepened. She whispered, “Me too.” Although there were times of heartache, she never stopped loving

him.

Jonathan’s eyes were filled with affection. He turned Estelle down onto the couch, kissing her

passionately and tenderly from her forehead to her lips.

The balcony curtain slowly closed, Jonathan held her waist, his voice raspy, “I can stop taking the

medication. You still have to take it for two more months, then we can have a baby.”

Estelle played with his shirt buttons, looking up at Jonathan, she said softly, “Let’s not have a baby for

now, can I also stop taking the medication? There’re only two months left, I’m in good health, and my

eyes are fine.”

“No.” Jonathan looked into her hopeful eyes and his heart softened. He kissed her face, comforting

softly, “Then I’ll keep taking the medication and stand by you. Just hold on for two more months.”

“Alright.” Estelle lowered her head in disappointment. Jonathan leaned over, whispering, “Tonight, I’ll

listen to you to make you happy, okay?”

Estelle undid his shirt buttons nimbly, then leaned in for a kiss.

The window was open and the wind blew the white curtain, brushing against Estelle’s shoulders. The

rustling sound tickled her. Her eyes were bright, reflecting the moonlight. Jonathan’s deep gaze filled

the soft glow.
