Chapter 1397

Chapter 1397

Amber burst in, grabbed Sallie’s hand, and asked excitedly, “Did Mr. Gellar really say yes?”

“Yep, it’s all thanks to Estelle!” Sallie replied with a grin.

Amber looked at Estelle, a little embarrassed, and said sheepishly. “Sorry about earlier I didn’t quite get

the situation”

“No problem!” Estelle responded, then turned to Liam, “We’ve got a show to film and edit, and we’re

running short on time. I’ll leave you and Sallie to work. I’ll head

out.”

“You kind of caught us by surprise this time. Let us know in advance next time so you can stay longer,

Liam said, a bit reluctantly

“Will do. I’ll come visit when I get the chance”

“Off you go then, and say hi to Old Mr. Quintin for me.”

“Sure thing!”

After a formal farewell to Liam, Estelle left with Henson and Hans.

Sallie followed them out, and once they were out of camera sight, she said excitedly. “Estelle, thank

you! I’ll study Mr. Gellar’s skills seriously and try my best to make good clothes”

“I’ll look forward to seeing your work on TV this weekend, Estelle said with a smile.

Sallie nodded firmly.

“Go for it!”

“Sallie, you got this!”

Henson and Hans each gave Sallie their best wishes and happily followed Estelle.

Watching them get into the car, Sallie turned to leave when her phone rang. It was Carmella calling.

Answering the call, Carmella immediately asked, “Sallie, how did Estelle convince Mr. Gellar?”

Sallie was unwilling to reveal, “Estelle’s just that amazing. A few words and Mr. Gellar changed his

mind. No matter how hard it is for you to accept, Estelle is better than you in all aspects.”

Carmella turned pale with anger, “No matter how great Estelle is, I’m still more famous, and the

Macclain family liked me more.”

Sallie scoffed, “Estelle just doesn’t want to participate in these entertainment shows. If she did, do younovelbin

think you’d still have a chance?”

“What do you mean?” Carmella glared.

Did the show crew invite Estelle, too?

Sallie said, “Exactly what it sounds like. Can’t you understand? Oh, right, you’re not a Macclain. You

can’t possibly be that smart. You can only play little tricks.”

Carmella hung up in anger.

Heather was getting more and more upset. If Sallie really could cooperate with Liam, Amber would

definitely win this time. Amber would stand out in this episode, and it would be hard for Heather to turn

things around.

Heather immediately went to find the director of the show, demanding a change of tailoring mentor

“We’ve already decided, isn’t it inappropriate to change people at the last minute?” The director was a

bit reluctant.

“If you don’t change, I’m not participating!” Heather said bluntly, “I’ll leave with my assistant today.”

The director hurriedly comforted, “Heather, it’s not that we don’t want to change. We just can’t. Many

behind-the-scenes clips have been posted online. If we change now, people will question the

authenticity of the show. Plus, Amber has a large fan base. If this blows up, it won’t be good for either

of us.”

The director promised again to give Heather more screen time and assured him that even if Heather

couldn’t be the first, she would definitely be the runner-up.

Heather didn’t want to take the risk of offending the director, risking worsening the situation beyond

repair. After all, she still relied on this variety show to boost her fame.
